I've been mostly going to Wendy's lately. There's a nice woman there who always says hi to me. But I don't think she's really my type.
dat - Posted - 12/09/2011: 07:07:44
I haven't eaten a Wendy's burger in years, I may go by today and get one
dat - Posted - 12/09/2011: 07:23:39
square meat on a round bun ifin I remember right, I think they have a decent grillled chicken sam-nich
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/09/2011: 08:29:14
My meal the last few times I've gone has cost $6.66. Devilishly good.

I'm going bonkers. Just got done practicing for 2 hours, have an afternoon christmas party to play, then a supper party to play, and then closing down a local bar with my other band. I CANNOT WAIT until December 26. Put Rudolph to bed already!!!
BBQ tonight for me...
dat - Posted - 12/09/2011: 10:54:10
not sure what we're eating tonight, got to go to town with my bride and do some grocery shopping
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/11/2011: 06:23:48
Yeah. I'm usually only scheduled for Saturday but my boss asked if I could go in for a few hours today, too.
I know this is the "fun" job but there are a few things I had kind of wanted to get done around the house today.
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/11/2011: 11:03:42
This is my second job, so technically it's not overtime since I'm only scheduled 8 hours a week there.
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/11/2011: 18:52:00
Nah. One of the problems with the horse world is that it's mostly women and a handful of gay guys. And Gary. But he's married now.

so there are no younger versions of the Sam Elliot types that go through then huh?
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/12/2011: 07:40:53
Never been a real big Sam Elliot fan. He kind of scares me.
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/12/2011: 10:09:18
Then again, I think David Buskin is pretty hot. And he has a mustache. (He's the guy on the left)

dat - Posted - 12/12/2011: 10:13:29
how 'bout somebody like Gary Cooper, I could see him around horses
dat - Posted - 12/12/2011: 10:35:06
I'm glad you said ok the the Gary Cooper type, Jimmy Stewart is good too, if you said no about Gary Cooper my next option was Steve Urkle
dat - Posted - 12/12/2011: 13:26:48
for a black guy I would say for you to look more for Denzel Washington than Will Smith
dat - Posted - 12/12/2011: 15:23:24
Will Smith kinda puffs up when he eats seafood, didn't you see that in the movie about the matchmaker (I did watch a chick flick)
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/13/2011: 07:32:33
I like the Men In Black movies. And there's some other movie I can't think of which is some sort of action flick that he's in that I like.
I haven't really watched any chick flick type things he's been in. I like him better in the action movies.
dat - Posted - 12/13/2011: 08:25:06
have ya'll seen "The Book of Eli" with Denzel Washington? it's pretty good
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/13/2011: 12:02:53
My coworker really liked "The Book Of Eli." I've not seen it. Or "Independence Day."
I have seen "Wild Wild West." Cute, but silly. There's an excellent scene in there of him skinny dipping.
"Bad Boys" is the action film I've seen him in.

Got an email from my exboyfriend. He just got back from Iraq (again). We're going to try to get together when I'm back in Indiana visiting my folks over Christmas.

Aalllllllllll my ex'ess live in Texxx'xxas. I've been married so long that my exes are from jr high
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/14/2011: 11:51:47
He's a good guy. Just a little whiny. Like he joined the army when he was 36 because he couldn't figure out what he wanted to do with his life. Last time I talked to him he was basically saying he still didn't know what he wanted to do with his life. He really didn't want to go through officer training because he didn't want to have to do officer basic training as a 40 year old. Hello! Did it not occur to you when you joined that you'd be 40 when it came time to think about becoming an officer?!
But he's a good guy. I just couldn't stand to live my whole life with him.
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 12/14/2011: 12:24:16
Yeah, he'd love that.
He's got a masters degree and had a reasonable job in Human Resources. He probably could have done pretty well for himself if he pursued a further career in that field instead of going into the army. He just didn't apply for any jobs. "No one will hire me. I'm a white male. Everyone is looking for minorities...."
Now he also has a security clearance. I have a feeling when he gets out of the army he's going to be looking for jobs in the DC area and might do well around here because of the security clearance. (If he actually applies for a job instead of whining about how no one will hire him so there's no point in applying for jobs.) I'd just as soon he not live so close, though.
