My son and I went to the local RC field yesterday. Some college kids from MIT were there with a 15' long stealth plane they'd made from carbon fiber and some other exotic materials. The had a successful flight in the morning but then lost in in the afternoon. It disappeared in the distance. They found it in the top of a tree about 2 miles away. They left to get some climbing gear.

We had a tornado come within 2 miles of our house, level a trailer park, take out my favorite gas station, take a roof off a building at the base where I used to work, and wreck some vintage airplanes at the aviation museum. Our neighborhood dodged the bullet this time. Life in Kansas!

I had a runaway RC airplane once... my friend and I chased it several miles in his car... before it splattered in farm field....

well, headed out camping fer the long weekend, our anniversary is tuesday, so we're headed out to the lake in the morning, pitch a tent and fire up the dutch oven.   ya'll keep me posted on Niffer and her sheep shearing cute vendor guy. when I get back there ain't no tellin how much yarn they would have spun together once the hollering is done
