I thought about roller skating... but then the thought of three leashed dogs that can run 45 mph made me think again....
OM45GE - Posted - 09/11/2012: 04:19:30
I saw a guy roller blading along the Charles River (which is a great place to run or walk by the way) with two Labs. Theyseemed to be keeping up with him pretty well but I wondered what would happen if they got a sudden urge to stop and sniff.
OM45GE - Posted - 09/11/2012: 09:49:30
I don't know which is more impressive, the dog not getting tangled up with pedestrians or all the kites not getting tangled up with each other.

What are you going to do with the prize money when you hit 1,000?
dat - Posted - 09/12/2012: 08:28:19
well, it's probably about time to start thinking about it, lots of responsibilities after you hit the 1000 mark, I'm not sure what they are, but I'm sure there are some
OM45GE - Posted - 09/12/2012: 10:37:38
I got 1,000,000 BHO bucks, which works out to about three cents in today's dollars. At least I was supposed to - it never came in.
DeanT - Posted - 09/12/2012: 11:59:29
All I ever got was a hard time from some of the forum's self proclaimed banjo gods...
OM45GE - Posted - 09/13/2012: 03:24:10
proof that there are more horses asses than horses to put them on...
DeanT - Posted - 09/13/2012: 07:05:47
I makes the asses feel better about their selfs to jump on others
dat - Posted - 09/13/2012: 07:16:01
kinda like the story about looking for a twig in your neighbors eye when you have a log in your own, the asses are always pointing out the twigs instead of enjoying life

I should have been born Italian, I could eat tomato sauce most every day, either on pasta or pizza
dat - Posted - 09/13/2012: 13:04:10
we pile the garlic on most everything.
we used to have a garlic scale for birds, the farther down the list the more garlic you need to put on it to be able to eat
sandhill crane
teal
wood duck
mallard
gadwall
widgeon
pintail
canvasback
redhead
ringneck
you can see how you have to pile it on after that
OM45GE - Posted - 09/13/2012: 13:26:39
I don't know what the Canada Geese eat on the Atlantic Flyway, but some of them you need more than a pile of garlic to make them edible.
dat - Posted - 09/13/2012: 13:36:33
I've eaten some snow geese that needed a lot, then some that were pretty clean tasting. I think once they get down close to the coast some of that salt and minerals they eat there can get pretty rough
OM45GE - Posted - 09/13/2012: 17:20:18
I just made garlic bread from a nice French loaf and six crushed cloves.

That's why I'm going out running every night again. It's getting harder and harder to maintain the High School figure....
dat - Posted - 09/14/2012: 09:01:09
I've lost my high school figure, I've gone from 27 inch waist to a 31 inch waist
DeanT - Posted - 09/14/2012: 11:25:10
I'm still at 28" waist... it's the saggy boobs that's getting out of hand here
OM45GE - Posted - 09/14/2012: 11:35:04
I destroyed my ankle in a dumb accident and was on crutches for a year. I couldn't work out but my appetite didn't change. I've been struggling ever since even though I can work out again. It went on a lot easier than it's coming off.
dat - Posted - 09/14/2012: 12:10:02
I need to do some exercises to get back to about a 30, I was pretty comfortable at that
OM45GE - Posted - 09/14/2012: 12:40:42
I was a 32 in high school and am a 38 now. I'm MUCH happier at 32.
And not like this guy.
DeanT - Posted - 09/14/2012: 14:47:02
What's really wierd is that I was 73 1/2" tall when I graduated High school, and the same when I entered the military... and now I'm 72" even. I'm an inch and a half shorter....
