My sister has a daughter with unending health issues. It's heartbreaking to see a child like that :(

The whole family has been having a rough go. My friend was saying her brother's wife is also pregnant with her second child and has spent a fair bit of her pregnancy in the hospital due to complications with crohns disease. Then about a month ago their maternal grandmother died. The day of the funeral the got news that their paternal grandmother died.

Just lots of stuff all at once.

My ex-boyfriend's wife was induced yesterday. Baby arrived at 10:54pm, 8 pounds even. Patrick Daniel. Both Mom and Dad got to hold him before he was whisked off to ICU. His first surgery will likely be next week.

He shares a birthday with his aunt. And Richard Dreyfuss, apparently.

Apparently Ft. Collins is known for their micro breweries. I'm not sure I could stand the competition.

I haven't heard anything one way or another about the job so I'm just twiddling my thumbs and working lots of over time. (We have a massive project at work right now. It's hard to type when you're twiddling your thumbs. But I'm managing.)

I had a recipe for some bread that you make with beer so I bought a six pack of something dark and exotic looking. I tried drinking a bottle. It had flavor. Like if you had a party where lots of people were smoking and putting their cigarette butts into a big ashtray and at the end of the evening you took all the ashes and stuff and put them into a bottle and poured water into it and then let that sit a couple of days.

It had lots of flavor. Not anything I'd ever want to experience again. But lots of flavor.

I believe one person puked,     it wasn't my drink,  I had mixed it for somebody, they said it was to strong, so I reached over to the table and picked up somebodies coke can and poured to dilute it,   it was mostly snuff that poured out.

Not sure about hamburgers, but we were talking about most restaurant foods tasting the same, used to be you ordered a "seafood sampler" as I call it, or seafood platter, everything tasted different, the shrimp tasted like shrimp, the fish tasted like fish and everything had a flavor,   now everything has the same seasoning and batter and that's all you taste.........the seasoning and batter, smaller portions with more batter
