Another good/funny one is Del Reeves' "Girl On The Billboard".
And "Smoke,Smoke,Smoke That Cigarette".
DeanT - Posted - 11/10/2014: 10:39:15
I remember both of those! I also remember a great funny song about a Nash Rambler, but I don't remember who did it.
OM45GE - Posted - 11/10/2014: 12:52:15
The Little Nash Rambler was by the Playmates
"Buddy can you tell me how to get this thing out of second gear?"
dat - Posted - 11/11/2014: 10:17:53
when I was a kid my grandmother had an old nash hubcap hanging under her shed next to the house, it's probably rusted down to nothing now, the shed fell down years ago and I'll bet everything in it is gone back to dirt
DeanT - Posted - 11/11/2014: 12:09:29
Kansas is good for old falling down barns and sheds all over the place out in the country
chuckv97 - Posted - 11/11/2014: 13:03:21
Yeah, there's a few in Alberta and Montana that are leaning at a 45 degree angle. 70 years of wind got them there.
dat - Posted - 11/11/2014: 14:50:10
in Louisiana, everything just rots and rusts from the humidity and moisture

My middle joint of my left hand ring finger sometimes locks up. Funny though,it loosens right up when I drive. I guess the vibration of the steering wheel helps free it up. So I guess I'll have to buy a small vibrator to use before I play banjo or guitar.😱

mine is getting to twitch more and more in traffic, hasn't locked up yet, but I feel it coming on
OM45GE - Posted - 11/12/2014: 11:35:25
For some reason the cold doesn't seem to bother my joints that much. They ache all the time.
OM45GE - Posted - 11/13/2014: 05:14:31
Mine too. I'm walking/hiking 2,000 + miles a year, skiing and biking.
DeanT - Posted - 11/13/2014: 13:56:16
At least its safer than getting thrown through the wall by my treadmill...
OM45GE - Posted - 11/14/2014: 12:43:53
There are some funny videos of people taking flight off treadmills.
DeanT - Posted - 11/16/2014: 09:34:18
I'm surprised there aren't more bad injuries... treadmills are really pretty dangerous. I'm always very careful on mine.
OM45GE - Posted - 11/17/2014: 06:07:28
I never really enjoyed treadmill workouts. We had a really good one but it was just gathering dust so I donated it to the high school. We still use our 20 year old Nordic Track
DeanT - Posted - 11/17/2014: 10:01:29
I use my nordic track every day! I have been for over 30 years! It's on it's second set of clutch rollers
dat - Posted - 11/17/2014: 15:30:56
I just go hiking, don't care for this time of the year much though, dark when I leave the house and dark when I get home, good to get out when we can though
OM45GE - Posted - 11/17/2014: 16:09:20
I do more hiking than anything else. If it's truly unlivable outside, I'll do the Nordic Track.
chuckv97 - Posted - 11/17/2014: 17:14:47
I'm getting hopelessly out of shape. I stretch and walk every day, go swimming a few times a month, with a sauna and whirlpool. I sometimes run on the spot with my legs as I drive,to the point where they get real tired. Need to do that 4 times daily, along with some push-ups .
DeanT - Posted - 11/17/2014: 17:44:54
I'm actually a workout addict. It keeps me out of trouble in retirement. I'm in better shape than at any other time in my life. I work out over 20 hours a week, but it's fun to go to local races and kick the crap out of kids half my age. Nordic Track rule!
OM45GE - Posted - 11/18/2014: 05:41:58
I can't say that I'm in the best shape I've ever been in, 63 years (as of last Sunday) do take their toll, but I'm still hiking four to ten miles a day, skiing, biking, riding the motorcycles and adding new tunes to the repertoire.
dat - Posted - 11/18/2014: 05:48:46
I'm, sure not in the best shape, but I'm not in bad shape, I could always do more
DeanT - Posted - 11/18/2014: 10:07:49
I type at a 4th grade level, but spellcheck makes me look smart....
OM45GE - Posted - 11/18/2014: 10:20:13
And then there are the times when auto correct makes me look dumb.
dat - Posted - 11/18/2014: 10:30:45
it's hard to mess up when you only type with two fingers, but I still manage
OM45GE - Posted - 11/18/2014: 11:28:59
I taught myself to touch type about 30 years ago and thank my lucky stars for spell check.
