Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/09/2013: 19:18:11
I thought I totally bombed the phone interview because they asked me a question I couldn't answer. And then they asked a follow up and I couldn't answer that. So I figured I'd get a "thanks but no thanks" letter from them. Instead I got an email inviting me out for an interview.
Being a woman I did the natural thing and thought "I haven't got a thing to wear!" So I went shopping tonight.
I told my supervisor about the phone interview and how I'd bombed the one question and she offered to teach me a few things between now an Monday (when the interview is). When I said I didn't think we'd have time (we both have some big projects ggoing on), she loaned me a book that she thinks will help. So I have reading material for the flight out.
DeanT - Posted - 10/10/2013: 00:12:47
Good luck! That would be so cool if you got the job and moved to God's country.
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/10/2013: 07:06:52
I'm a 49ers fan. And the Patriots. Broncos are okay but not at the top of my list.
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/10/2013: 12:57:12
My interview was delayed. It will actually be the 23rd. That's going to make my life a lot easier.
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/11/2013: 08:32:36
I did a few searches for houses and I'm not sure I could find anything out there that's cheaper than what I'm paying now.
dat - Posted - 10/11/2013: 09:12:48
but they'll have to run around outside too, just put in a pet door
dat - Posted - 10/11/2013: 13:13:43
George would like it, he could come right up to your bedroom window
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/12/2013: 07:15:43
Now that's pretty nice. Probably a bit out of my price range. Maybe I need to find me a sugar daddy.
dat - Posted - 10/12/2013: 07:53:01

good thinking, I would have said start with the injured list 'cause they can't run away, but your thinking sounds much better once it's typed out. Start with the injured list
DeanT - Posted - 10/14/2013: 06:41:03
get in good with the team, and I bet you could get a massage from the team massager dude. But you might have to put up with a locker room full of necked hard bodies.
dat - Posted - 10/14/2013: 07:00:07
you may end up getting hooked up with the team massager dude instead of a player, which is probably a good thing, he won't have the big ego like some of the team
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/14/2013: 09:59:01
Do you think team massager dudes like crazy spinster cat ladies?
DeanT - Posted - 10/14/2013: 13:12:48
After working on guys all day, he will be ready for a good woman
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/15/2013: 09:47:55
I completely forgot to sign up for a belly dancing class this fall. Probably just as well. I've been super busy.
DeanT - Posted - 10/15/2013: 12:55:19
I knew it! Already planning for the move. There will be belly dancing classes in Colorado.
dat - Posted - 10/15/2013: 15:11:32
I think you can get a lot of different wool from Colorado too, cold enough climate to grow some thick wool
dat - Posted - 10/16/2013: 05:42:22
or a pair of socks, everybody in colorado needs a warm pair of socks
dat - Posted - 10/16/2013: 09:40:43
speaking of which, my long johns are getting mighty thin, I need to invest in a new set
DeanT - Posted - 10/16/2013: 12:25:33
I still have GI long johns in the package from my deployment days. Would much rather have knitted LJ's in Denver Bronco colors
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/17/2013: 06:04:28
It would have to be really fine wool to work as long johns. So much wool is itchy.
dat - Posted - 10/17/2013: 07:53:55
most of the old timers a silk union suit under their wool, silk is pretty strong and helps cut back on the itching and gives you another layer
Mr. Quimby - Posted - 10/17/2013: 10:46:41
I have some silk to spin. Probably not enough for an undergarment, though.
dat - Posted - 10/17/2013: 12:01:10
jest have to make it a small undergarment ![]()
