me too, then I went and messed it up with Ruth, bad thing is I can't erase it now
OM45GE - Posted - 02/12/2014: 07:36:27
I wonder if "Fall Guy" refers to who I just fell out of my chair?
OM45GE - Posted - 02/12/2014: 12:44:37
I wonder if my heart could take it if she walked into the room looking like that.
DeanT - Posted - 02/12/2014: 16:26:24
I don;t know if she would look like that, she is probably 60 by now
dat - Posted - 02/13/2014: 05:55:37
Sophia Loren was probably 60 in the movie grumpier old men, and she still looked pretty good then
OM45GE - Posted - 02/13/2014: 06:08:01
As difficult as it is to believe, I don't look quite as good as I did when I was 25 either..................and I didn't start out all that great to beginwith.
DeanT - Posted - 02/13/2014: 10:52:25
I'm actually in better shape now than I've ever been, it's never too late.

I'm in great shape, still ski, walk 4 to 6 miles a day, but there's no getting around being 62.
DeanT - Posted - 02/13/2014: 16:58:19
I bet there is!
I run marathons against men and women in their 60's and 70's and am constantly amazed at how much the effects of aging can be fought. I'm mid 50's and could kick my 20 year old self's a$$. BTW, the photo in my last post was taken three weeks ago

Pretty ripped Dean. I can't run since my knee surgeries. I sure miss it. I bike and walk but it's not the same.
DeanT - Posted - 02/13/2014: 18:48:25
I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't run... I might go bonkers! I've been doing a lot of lifting this winter too, really enjoying it.
OM45GE - Posted - 02/14/2014: 02:32:37
The lifting shows. One of the things I like about skiing is that I get the feeling of speed and agility that I used to have running.
OM45GE - Posted - 02/15/2014: 05:41:11
I take Toby out for 4 or 5 miles and he's raring to go for more.
OM45GE - Posted - 02/15/2014: 07:19:44
LOL. I used to work with a woman who had greyhounds and she said the same thing. She said everyone expects them to be high energy.
dat - Posted - 02/15/2014: 07:27:33
I figured they would be, I'm used to hunting dogs that'll keep going all day even when you can tell they're worn out. figured greyhounds would be the same
OM45GE - Posted - 02/15/2014: 11:25:17
I know, Toby will go beyond when he wants to drop. I think greyhounds are more like cheetahs....really fast for shorter distances.
DeanT - Posted - 02/15/2014: 17:11:53
Show greyhounds might be different, I don't know. But the racers are SO DONE when their careers are over. It's almost as if they are trying to make up for pushing so hard in their early life. The girl in my Avatar rarely ever stands up more than about 10 minutes, to eat, and maybe greet the mailman. She never barks, and spends 23 hours a day on the couch upside-down. She is the perfect dog.
DeanT - Posted - 02/17/2014: 10:14:14
yeah, and they always plop their butt right on them every time....
dat - Posted - 02/17/2014: 15:22:49
my bride cleaned out the fridge yesterday, our dog that adopted us will like the edge of the woods where she threw the scraps
DeanT - Posted - 02/17/2014: 16:13:07
the possums and stray cats get a lot of our nasty leftovers...
