We're several weeks from anything budding around here.

Time to find out if green shirt guy is a member of a gym, and then go for a workout...

OM45GE - Posted - 02/28/2014:  13:14:55

We've got to find out where this gym is and go observe discretely.

DeanT - Posted - 02/28/2014:  15:13:00

offer to spot him on the bench press if he buys you a drink after the workout

dat - Posted - 02/28/2014:  15:25:42

I think ol greensleeves could be tha one

OM45GE - Posted - 02/28/2014:  16:18:27

See if he's 'Niffer worthy?

DeanT - Posted - 02/28/2014:  23:54:04

What does Greensleeves drive?

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/01/2014:  07:47:40

Oh. I do need to fund out what he drives. I wonder if I can set up cameras in the parking lot to stalk him. Since he's an administrator he probably works weird hours and might not be coming or going when I could observe him.

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/01/2014:  07:48:21

Probably a camera in the lobby, too, so I know when to be stalking the elevators.

OM45GE - Posted - 03/01/2014:  11:03:43

You've got this pretty well scoped out. If you really want to go all out, you may want to consider a drone equipped with a camera:

DeanT - Posted - 03/01/2014:  13:06:05

You never know, he might already have cameras watching you!

OM45GE - Posted - 03/01/2014:  13:51:55

Good point

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/02/2014:  15:46:38

Oh, I could mabe even follow him home with that drone!

OM45GE - Posted - 03/02/2014:  15:52:56

Right into the house!

DeanT - Posted - 03/02/2014:  17:12:57

you might not need to follow him, he just might invite you

OM45GE - Posted - 03/02/2014:  17:14:56

A little advanced reconnisence might still be a good idea.

DeanT - Posted - 03/02/2014:  23:27:18

Find out how many cats and dogs he has

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/03/2014:  07:06:36

No work for me today because of the snow.

Guess I'll do a little housecleaning and such.

OM45GE - Posted - 03/03/2014:  07:21:01

Snow and DC don't mix very well. Enjoy the downtime.

dat - Posted - 03/03/2014:  08:41:25

it's snowing here, me and snow don't mix, I'm ready fer it to warm UP

OM45GE - Posted - 03/03/2014:  10:08:06

We were near 30 at 3:00 AM but are almost down into the teens. Winter still has New England in its grip.

DeanT - Posted - 03/03/2014:  10:14:25

snow and cold in Kansas, no mosquitoes and I didn't have to mow the lawn, so life is good

dat - Posted - 03/03/2014:  10:36:35

We got down to 22 last night, it ain't sposed to be that cold here.   I heard that the reason the weather is messed up is that the jet stream has been disrupted by all the flights of air force 1 back and forth from DC to Hawaii

OM45GE - Posted - 03/03/2014:  10:38:57

I thought it was because someone accidentally switched all the wind turbines to blow.

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/03/2014:  10:48:48

My poor kitty just fell on her head. She has an REM sleep disorder and has these seizure like episodes sometimes when she's sleeping. If she's too close to the edge of the chair, she often falls off. My vet said, "You might try discouraging her from sleeping on high things, like chairs." Yeah, um, she's a cat. How do you do that?

OM45GE - Posted - 03/03/2014:  10:58:08

Ouch!

dat - Posted - 03/03/2014:  12:15:46

just keep pillows under the tall stuff

OM45GE - Posted - 03/03/2014:  12:17:40

Safety nets?

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/03/2014:  12:33:32

I'd have to put pillows around every piece of furniture I own!

I'd probably end up taking too many naps as a result.

DeanT - Posted - 03/03/2014:  15:20:04

Just let miss kitty sleep in the bed with you

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/03/2014:  16:21:52

No. Pass on that. When she has a particularly violent episode she'll scratch the heck out of me in bed. Been there, done that. Plus sometimes she looses control of her bladder. I've got pads and blankets on all my chairs but it's a lot of work to wash all the bedding on the bed every couple of days.

DeanT - Posted - 03/03/2014:  17:12:32

sounds like miss kitty is getting old. One of our cats lived 20 years.

OM45GE - Posted - 03/03/2014:  17:56:08

It's hard when they start failing.

dat - Posted - 03/04/2014:  06:34:36

I don't care for cats much, but they end up being part of the family just like the dogs do,

OM45GE - Posted - 03/04/2014:  06:35:55

Sort of a dog guy myself too. No cats at the moment, but they seem to attach themselves to the household now and then.

Nope.  She was about 2 when I got her and she's always done this.

I got her from a rescue.  She and her brother were both there.  They had been abused at some point.  Her brother had to have an eye removed and the vet apparently said that it was pretty obvious that the damage done to it was deliberate.  I've wondered if maybe she was thrown against a wall or something and has brain damage.

Other than the seizures she's pretty healthy.  I don't know if she'll live a full life, but she's maybe 7 years old now and is doing well otherwise.

Don't know if you guys can see this if you don't have facebook, but I thought I'd try to share anyway.  One of my friends shared it.  It's a guy turkey hunting who accidentally calls a horse.

this here is more like our turkey hunting

we have had cows come through though while deer hunting, some that got loose and were wondering

OM45GE - Posted - 03/04/2014:  10:34:00

I like his bodily punctuation mark at the end. That seems to be what finally convinced the horse to leave.

dat - Posted - 03/05/2014:  12:20:24

our turkey hunting trips usually turned out to be more of a drinking trip

OM45GE - Posted - 03/05/2014:  12:55:20

Same with deer hinting up here.

DeanT - Posted - 03/05/2014:  15:43:16

I've never been able to get a deer to take a hint before

OM45GE - Posted - 03/06/2014:  05:00:06

At some point I stopped enjoying it and gave up deer hunting.

DeanT - Posted - 03/06/2014:  05:54:35

I've never been a hunter, I'm just too sensitive to animals. Please don't tell me where hamburgers come from

dat - Posted - 03/06/2014:  05:57:24

I still like going out in the woods, but the thrill of seeing a deer just isn't there the same, I still like to watch them, and still do shoot some for the freezer, but I enjoy watching them more than anything now

OM45GE - Posted - 03/06/2014:  08:28:21

Me too. The woods are getting a little to crowded up our way too. Lots of places I used to hunt are subdivisions now. I had a buddy who was out during doe season. He was ready to fire at one who's head was behind a bush. He could see shoulders and back and was ready for a clean shot. Fortunately he decided to wait to see if it was a buck or doe and when the deer came out from behind the bush it turned out to be a man picking mushrooms in a suede jacket.

DeanT - Posted - 03/06/2014:  10:43:32

On the farm, I had trouble when my Dad killed a chicken for dinner. It tore me up. That's probably why I'm into dog rescue now

Mr. Quimby - Posted - 03/06/2014:  11:05:01

I sometimes feel bad for the plants, too.

That's why I eat Oreos and Twinkies. Totally synthetic and enough preservatives to keep me alive forever..

OM45GE - Posted - 03/06/2014:  11:10:03

LOL! I love it, a reason to live on junk food!

dat - Posted - 03/06/2014:  14:38:29

I should think about food like that
