I have been lucky about that, my bride does her thing, I do mine, neither one stops the other from doing what we want, 90% of the time we end up doing the same stuff.
I really don't mind being told what to do , I don't mind telling someone else what to do either, but I'm not a good teacher, I don't want to hold someones hand while they are doing what I told them, and going back and double checking to make sure they did it is just about as bad. I would just as soon do it my self as to tell someone else and it not be done or not done right. I guess I don't play well with others
I lived alone long enough that I can take care of myself. I do most of the cooking, all of the laundry and home maintenance. The wife unit does the shopping but I'm happy to do that too if I had to.
I do a lot of shopping, just 'cause I drive by a grocery store on the way home from work and my bride doesn't. it's easier for me and she doesn't have to drive back to town or out of the way that far. saves on gas and time, so it saves money
I don't cook, but I do do all the laundry. She shops. I do all the dishes. She cleans the house, I keep up the yard. I feed the dogs, she feeds the cat. But I have to clean the cat box... How did I agree to that?
I don't mean to gross you all out or anything - - but 3 of our clients at the group home are on psychotropic meds for the various conditions they are going through. One of the side effects of the psychotropic meds is - - they clog you up big time, and you don't "poop" very often. Once in every 4 or 5 days is common. Needless to say when you finally do have to go to the bathroom - - the "poop" is huge (usually almost as large as a pint sized water glass), and it can't be flushed down the toilet. We use the cat poop scooper (for the cat litter box) to reach down and scoop the human waste out of the toilet - into a waste basket, and immediately out to the trash bin outside the house. The cat box there at the house (needless to say) doesn't bother me one bit!
I put the dog poo in a big trash can in the back yard. The flies are everywhere. When I take the cat poo from the cat box outside, and put it in the dog poo can... all the flies disappear. For real!
Maybe I need a cat after all. I have a steel trash can with a tight fitting lid. I line it with a plastic bag and then put the dog poop, (in the bags I pick it up with) in the can. Now flies and no odor except when I open it.

Yeah, I was kind of stuck on him, too, but I know he's the spinning dude (spinsters like me get excited when we hear about guys who spin), and that's a different story.
I've already promised my firstborn to someone else, though, so Rumplestilskin is out of luck where I'm concerned.
One of the first banjo albums I had was by Terry's Dad, Eddie Poirier. I'll be seeing them at Blueberry Bluegrass Fest. this weekend in Stony Plain, AB, along with The Earls of Leicester, Chris Jones, Bluegrass Etc., and others.
Not as much as I'd like. I had some foot problems a couple years ago and had to cut way back and I haven't gotten back to it as much as I'd like.
I need to start getting in condition, though. Last year I spun just shy of 7,000 yards for Spinzilla. I'd like to break 7,000 this year. Spinzilla is in October, so it's coming up fast!

asking that, I reload with a single stage press, I can sit for hours reloading with nothing but the sound of the press lever moving, kind of like wind down time.
Although there was a period of about a month where I listened to the same song on repeat on my CD player. I don't know why. It just spoke to me somehow.
