We just got a mailed notice from the electric company that they’re shutting down the service to our neighborhood for eight hours next Thursday to do maintenance. When I called customer service to b****, I got a message that they were closed until Tuesday and to have a nice holiday.

The letter also said they would postpone it if the temperature was supposed be below 29 F. It looks like we’ll be in the teens all week so time will tell.
