Well lets see... We will be in Kansas for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. Cyberdad is coming to Cali some time in the future so he gets to meet him then. And it has been decided that if the government goes completely crazy and hell breaks loose, we are making a break for Texas, meaning you get to meet him should we end up hiding out there lol.

Does that work for everyone? big

DeanT - Posted - 04/23/2013:  11:38:19

I will see how he reacts to my dogs...

dat - Posted - 04/23/2013:  11:41:45

Alaina - Posted - 04/23/2013:  11:42:27

He loved Charley if that counts

DeanT - Posted - 04/23/2013:  16:13:53

Yep... you can tell more about someone by the way they treat animals, than anything else.

Alaina - Posted - 04/23/2013:  16:16:48

Well he and I adopted two kittens this past weekend. He missed having a cat and we didn't have the heart to only get one of them and separate siblings, so we took home two sisters. He won't stop sending me adorable pics of them all day haha

Where in Illinois??  I've got relatives living there from south to north.

Strong family values too.  Is he a church going guy?  I hope you realize -

We're all just looking out for you!  approve

Cool, if he cleans the litter box too.... then get thee to the chapel as fast as you can!

Hey, I've got a sister in Champaign Ill...

Alaina - Posted - 04/24/2013:  08:25:24

I don't remember where exactly in Illinois, I'll find out though. And yes, I know you're all watching out for me big

Bet your butt he cleans the litter box. He's the one who wanted the cats, therefore he's the one who cleans up after them LOL

dat - Posted - 04/24/2013:  13:58:36

we had a couple of cats 'till they started waiting around the bird feeders, then the cats vanished for some reason

Alaina - Posted - 04/24/2013:  14:59:56

These two, I swear, are so full of energy it isn't even funny

mbanjo - Posted - 04/24/2013:  15:12:42

Send him here today........its a holiday........ tell him to bring his bike

Alaina - Posted - 04/24/2013:  15:28:15

Haha he has to work. And I'd have to come with him because he left me to go home for 9 days and I was miserable LOL

mbanjo - Posted - 04/24/2013:  15:36:53

Darn!..........oh well just send the motorcycle then:-)

Alaina - Posted - 04/24/2013:  15:37:49

If I did that, he'd think that meant he could go buy another one

mbanjo - Posted - 04/24/2013:  19:34:39

You could buy one each?

dmiller - Posted - 04/24/2013:  22:06:30

MAS?  (Motorcycle Aquisition Syndrome) ??  wink

Alaina - Posted - 04/25/2013:  08:23:34

No, I don't want one. I am perfectly content being on the back of his because it means I get to look at the scenery while he's stuck watching the road lol

dat - Posted - 04/25/2013:  10:22:04

I never was a motor skooter driver, I kinda like to keep my feet where they are when I come to a stop,   my 49 jeep works well

Alaina - Posted - 04/25/2013:  10:24:03

I don't blame you. That's another reason why I like being on the back, I don't have to try and brake.

DeanT - Posted - 04/25/2013:  11:12:13

We're not going to see your in-the-wind photo in Easy Rider are we?

Alaina - Posted - 04/25/2013:  11:16:22

LOL!!!! No, not gonna happen. Trust me!

dat - Posted - 04/25/2013:  12:46:52

good, stay outta them magazines

Alaina - Posted - 04/25/2013:  12:47:58

Haha yeah..... I plan on it lol

DeanT - Posted - 04/25/2013:  12:53:08

So do you have biker tattoos to go along with riding on the back?

Alaina - Posted - 04/25/2013:  14:19:13

I have a sunflower on my ankle with the stem wrapped around the back and all down the top of my foot. Hurt like a female dog, but was sooo worth it. Can't wait to get more!!

dat - Posted - 04/26/2013:  14:21:53

I've heard once you get one, you want more.       I wanted one when I was younger, but never got it, now I don't want one anymore.   nothing against them, just I haven't figured out what I wanted that would still look good when it sagged when I got old

Alaina - Posted - 04/26/2013:  14:24:18

That's why you just don't let it sag! And if the sagging is inevitable, just be old enough that you don't care what people think wink

dat - Posted - 04/26/2013:  14:39:01

my uncle got a few in WWII, they were still holding up in the late 90's

Alaina - Posted - 04/26/2013:  14:44:45

I think I found the next one I'm getting, without the bottom black chunk

DeanT - Posted - 04/26/2013:  14:55:11

I've got a few (34) ... SIMPLE IS BETTER... I got my last one in 91, so they are all getting old. The complex ones are turning into blobs, and most of the color is gone. To do it over again, they would all be simple, bold, and black (silhouette style).

Alaina - Posted - 04/26/2013:  15:10:26

I don't think I could come up with 34 things I'd want tattooed on me lol

DeanT - Posted - 04/26/2013:  19:02:06

Jim Beam would help you figure that out...

mbanjo - Posted - 04/26/2013:  20:17:09

Its amazing just what you will do after a few drinks..........all my tattoos were done after a drink or two

dat - Posted - 04/27/2013:  07:40:52

most of my scars are after a drink or ten

mbanjo - Posted - 04/27/2013:  14:37:43

Two of my three marraige proposals were after such an event:-)

DeanT - Posted - 04/27/2013:  16:00:22

my first three marriage fails went something like that too...

mbanjo - Posted - 04/27/2013:  20:52:05

Will we ever learn?

dmiller - Posted - 04/27/2013:  21:24:03

I seem to remember (somewhere) in the bible where it talks against getting tattoos, but I don't remember the chapter and verse.  Doesn't matter.  They look OK (in moderation) on other folks, but I wouldn't ever get one on me.  I figure I was born the way I am, and I should look the same when I pass on.

Then again - - I smoke cigarettes.  I guess if God had meant for me to smoke, my nostrils would be on the top of my nose so they could act like a chimney, eh?  big

I got tattoos when they still had shock value. I thinks those days are gone...my wife smokes... man I love the smell. I'd like to smoke again, but it would mess up my marathon training.

mbanjo - Posted - 04/28/2013:  16:18:30

I stopped smoking nearly 12 months ago..but I don't think I could run a marathon yet

dat - Posted - 04/29/2013:  08:37:59

I never did smoke, well other than trying 5 or 6 times and coughing up my toenails,   they smell good burning, specially when first lit with a zippo.    chewing tobacco was my downfall, been about 7 years now and I still think I could eat a whole can of copenhagen,   I don't think the urge ever leaves

DeanT - Posted - 04/29/2013:  10:32:16

I was a chewer too (because of runnng) and quit in 06. Never did smell as good as smoking.

My grandma tells me the same thing about tattoos. The body is God's temple and whatnot. Well churches are God's houses and they have stained glass windows. So based on that logic, tattoos are just like stained glass windows. She just shakes her head and laughs a little. But the bible is also against changing anything about you. Meaning no ear piercing, no hair coloring, no nail polish, no unnatural tanning, etc. I think it's just all about not going overboard. But even then, who is to say what is overboard?

flake - Posted - 04/29/2013:  11:18:54

So...should I quit running and take up smoking......or....quit thinking and take up drinking?

Incoherent minds want to know?!

Alaina - Posted - 04/29/2013:  11:20:36

Well, which would you rather do: smoke or drink?

flake - Posted - 04/29/2013:  11:21:58

Yes. :-)

flake - Posted - 04/29/2013:  11:23:01

Preferably....with a State Trooper in the place who owes me a favor.

Alaina - Posted - 04/29/2013:  11:24:21

Haha then how about this approach: running or thinking?

flake - Posted - 04/29/2013:  11:26:54

I can do both......but it's hard to keep a highball glass from spilling no matter how coordinated your thinking is.  I do my best thinking when I don't have ice spilling all over the place.
