Sounds good to me. Mother Nature put it there, let her take it away!

The first storm of the year, 3 inches is big news and everyone gets all excited and people make snow men, drive like idiots and crash their cars - school might even get canceled. After that, we call 3 inches of snow "a dusting".

These days I only like winter weather until New Years , then it gets old real quick. I went and lived on the west coast near Vancouver for four years- it's mild, but it rains a lot all winter. At least here on the east side of the mountains it's sunny- better for mood uplift.

I took up skiing sort of in self defense. I figured that if I was going to live in the northeast with it's long winters, I would go crazy without something fun to do outside.

We used to start soccer season in April- talk about muddy games- covered head to foot and slipping a*s over teakettle

In Kansas we have a mild fall, two weeks of winter, then spring. I never even loose my farmer tan lines.

We're in getting towards the end of our fall foliage season. Once the leaves are gone we will have a month or so of bare trees and cooling temps. Then we'll have 16 to 20 weeks of winter. Spring is April and May and then it's summer again. The Circle Game.

it gets hot in the summer, by the end of august the trees are dry and the leaves fall off cause of no water, then we have bare trees through the winter, every once in a while the leaves last through summer and turn light brown before turning brown and fall off, either way, we have to drive north about a 200 to 250 miles into Arkansas to see any color, then we have a few months the temp doesn't get above 80, then a week or two it gets down to freezing, then back up 60s and 80's with rain, then summer time again, 90 to 105 may through october

I've shoveled snow here in May. Not a lot, but it has happened.

I've driven through falling snow all 12 months of the year. Up in the mountain passes it sometimes snows in June, July and August.

I heard somewhere (once several years ago) that the only month it HASN'T snowed in Minnesota is August. I don't know if that's true or not, but it sure is plausible.

I suspect someone from Mars Candy Company. They put "W's" on M&M's and then turn them upside down.
