we did pretty good at not cooking way too much, we have a few leftovers, but with the 22 people that came over, they ate a lot of groceries.  I was worried about not having enough, but it turned out everybody ate plenty and we still had a few leftovers

They're doing some renovations at the barn here and the guys pulled the vents for the heaters out when they replaced the windows. Apparently they're not done with the windows yet, though. But it's cold!

I just put one of the heaters back. It's 40 outside and this is an uninsulated loft. I'm cold, darnit.

I broke down and grabbed a couple of hand warmers from the store room. Probably should put them on my tab. They are right in the cuff of my sleeve.

The heater thing seems to be broken. It was blowing nothing but cold air and the temp was dropping the longer it ran.
