by the time I get there, I won't know if I have a dog or banjo or what, I figure I'll loose my mind and not know much of anything.   my bride will put me in the rest home 'cause I'm wandering around the woods nakkid and don't know any body.   I figure that'll be better than having a great mind and my body not work, at least I won't realize I'm not all there

We had a Newfoundland growing up and my brother had one a while back. Those guys slobbered bucketfuls. It seemed as though they didn't drink enough water to produce it all.

we had a saint bernard, he could slobber well too,  good to have labs, they only slobber when you're teasing them with food for a long time before you give it to them

I've seen Toby do it a little when he's been wrestling with another dog for a long time, but as a rule, nothing.

Of course, when he takes a drink of water he seems to save about a quart in his lips and spreads that all over the floor on his way to laying his head in my lap to leave a big stain on my pants.

Our dorky male sticks his whole head in the water bucket. My avitar girl sloshes more water out of the bucket than she gets in her mouth!

I had a female lab that would drink from the bottom of a bucket, I guess the water at the bottom tasted better than the water on the top,  she would get finished drinking then have a head that was wet up past her ears

I used to have an English Mastiff who would slobber so bad that he would have shoestring-like drool trails literally touching the floor... Now I have a basset who likes to let his ears float in his water bowl and then he mops the floor with them. It's pretty gross haha
