probably both, but more age now.   I like to think that I do things slower cause I'm smarter about doing it, truth is it hurts more now if I blow through things and try to get it done fast.    I still cut and split fire wood by hand, but it takes me longer to get a cord stacked

our neighbors dog has adopted us, he lives close to a mile down the road, but stays at our house, they have come and gotten him several times, but he keeps coming back.  he brings us things too, he usually brings a towel or a pillow with him, he drug up a food bowl once. my bride was outside and he came up the driveway with his bowl in his mouth.    she said a dog only has one thing to move and he was moving in.   he was on the porch this morning wagging his tail when I left for work

 he got a bath last night,  he stood still through the whole thing, even wagged his tail.  pretty good ol mutt, looks like he has a little lab in him, a little of what we call yellow cur dog, who knows what else, pretty gentle for a puppy.  his owners will be back and get him, but he comes right back.  even without feeding him

I'm getting to where I'ld be OK with that, we don't feed him, but he eats well, not fat but has good rolling skin and meat on his ribs.  he wiggles all over when I get home in the evening. even though he eats there, I think we're the only ones that give him any attention as far as playing with him

Dogs know where they belong! My avatar dog (Lisa) was supposed to just be a temp foster... Ha!... she walked in, found a bed, gathered all the bones and toys on it, layed down, flipped over, said "I'm home" and fell asleep. That was the first 20 minutes in our hose. We signed the adoption papers two weeks later.
