I wonder where they’re still racing dogs. They passed The Greyhound Protection Act and shut down the greyhound tracks around here.

Nice dog, Dean. There’s a guy walks his Greyhound here at the park, but not sure where he got it. He claims it won over 50 races. Her name’s “Pokey”.

Through some research, if Pokey is part of his racing name, there is only one red-brindle listed as TNJ Pokey, born in 2011, he ran 46 races with 6 wins and 6 shows. He was an A class racer, so although he didn't win over 50 races... he was still really really good. He had 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He raced in Tucson.

Wow, just read your post now, Dean. That could be him,, he lives with Bill (who’s from Boston originally - a town known for hyperbole !) , a neighbo(u)r of my galpal near Phoenix. So seeing Pokey’s from Tucson makes sense.
