I have a .45 auto. Lots of fun to shoot, but not cheap to shoot.
Alaina - Posted - 04/29/2013: 15:03:27
Matt has been saving up ammo for a long time. He has more .45 than he knows what to do with lol
ErikH - Posted - 04/29/2013: 15:08:39
I did for a while, when I used to shoot regularly, but I burned through most of it eventually. I seldom go, now. Seems like when I have the time, so does everyone else, and I don't like to wait.
Alaina - Posted - 04/29/2013: 15:10:43
He got a membership so all we have to do is call up with the time we are showing up and there is always a lane waiting for us. And it's open for as long as we want it.

I'm afraid I don't have that luxury anywhere nearby. If I want to drive an hour and a half, I can join a club, but three hours round trip driving turns a morning thing into an all-day thing, unfortunately.

Some years back,I became friends with a cattle rancher west of Ft,Pierce,Fl,Over to the side
of some scrub land,he built a shooting area. Not a shooting range but he dug 3 large pits for
pistols rifles and shotguns. The dirt from the pits was piled into a large mound to shoot into.
The only thing it costs is every 5 years he hires a clam bucket to clean pits.We donate for that.
Wonderful man,wonderful place,we have fun,,,

ErikH - Posted - 05/01/2013: 02:25:36
That's a pretty good order. I'd probably have to throw Barbecue in there somewhere, too.
banjoscotty - Posted - 05/01/2013: 05:00:05

Alaina - Posted - 05/01/2013: 08:48:09
LOL what is the max number of things we can have on that list?
mbanjo - Posted - 05/01/2013: 15:21:17
Actually milk is good to mix with whiskey if you have ulcers....less dangerous to your stomach
ErikH - Posted - 05/01/2013: 15:32:37
No, I've never mixed them. I usually don't mix my whiskey with anything, although I do enjoy the occasional Manhattan.

You float Jameson's Irish Whiskey on top of Bailey's irish cream in a shot glass, and drop it in a glass of Guinness. Never had one myself.

$1,467 at the very moment?..................however I would prefer a 1945 bottle of Chartruese
ErikH - Posted - 05/02/2013: 17:18:21
If you had the scrap gold, you could use it to buy whatever you wanted, I suppose.
mbanjo - Posted - 05/03/2013: 12:29:02
There must still be lots of gold still waiting to be found.......wish I had the time and patience to go looking for it
banjoscotty - Posted - 05/03/2013: 13:34:43
They have found MEGA deposits of liquid gold in North Dakota.
mbanjo - Posted - 05/03/2013: 21:27:39
What techniques are used in mining liquid gold ........or do you just drink it? :-)
