We had a big cold front move through. It was almost 80 two days ago, and today it probably won't get out of the 40's.
OM45GE - Posted - 10/04/2014: 07:47:40
That's headed sort of our way but they're saying the real cold air will go north. We're supposed to stay in the 60's and 70's all week. Last Word and I are happy.

Crazy day in college football...and I have the last word.
ErikH - Posted - 10/05/2014: 04:08:13
The last word here this morning is chilly. As in 40 degrees. In the long run, not so chilly, but a bit so for this early in October.
ErikH - Posted - 10/06/2014: 02:09:43
Yeah. We actually saw the first snow of the year for us Saturday morning. Thank goodness it was mixed with rain and it wasn't cold enough for it to stick to the ground.
OM45GE - Posted - 10/06/2014: 04:27:04
We're at 39 F Last Word wore a knit hat walking the dog this morning.

I'm pretty sure my dog wishes she had a heavier coat on really cold days.

Toby loves the cold and snow. He's fun to watch burrowing in the white stuff.

OM45GE - Posted - 10/07/2014: 05:21:00

Getting ready to go out and look at the lunar eclipse in Illinois.
OM45GE - Posted - 10/08/2014: 03:01:43
We're supposed to be having the eclipse right about now but it's raining out.
OM45GE - Posted - 10/08/2014: 05:56:36
Sorry, but I've eclipsed you and taken LW back to Massachusetts.
OM45GE - Posted - 10/09/2014: 13:31:35

ErikH - Posted - 10/10/2014: 04:09:31

OM45GE - Posted - 10/10/2014: 05:04:17
Last work went face down in the plate and didn't even come up for air until it was licked clean. His face was covered in sauce until he used a piece of garlic bread to sop it up. He belched a couple of times and asked if there were second helpings. It was pretty disgusting. I may not have him over for dinner again.
OM45GE - Posted - 10/10/2014: 07:25:19
He's still welcome here. It's the dining experience that has me concerned.
