LW likes the Flames, cuz they moved from Atlanta, being named after the Civil War burning of that city. Me, I've been a Blackhawk fan all my life, growing up in St. Catharines , Ontario where the Junior team was a Chicago affiliate.

Yep, they played with pride and passion,, many had to have summer jobs to make ends meet. But like all the other sports, big money happened and they overloaded the leagues with too many teams.
