Actually pretty nice. My wonderful boyfriend showed up on the bike to take me to lunch and I wore a tank top under my biker jacket (it says "Speed Queen") and was warm while we were riding. The computer says it's 66 (Fahrenheit) and the sun is shining. Not bad for January 8th

I think this summer is going to be really wet, especially after how miserably dry it was last year. It's going to be a wet summer and a freezing winter, especially if it doesn't snow in the midwest and up north again soon...

Minnesota and the Northern Plains have had plenty. Here we have a little snow sitting on the grass where it remains shady; it's all gone everywhere else. The rest will be gone by tomorrow afternoon--it's supposed to be around 45F.

Well, maybe not up to my eyeballs, but yes, it should at least be in the teens, with several inches on the ground, anyway. If all I have to look at is brown grass and mud, I could really get to dislike winter.
