I did three day weekends for awhile. 10 hour days, but had every Monday off.

I do 11 to 12 hour days all year round and can't keep up. Taking the extra day off doesn't help with the workload but it sure is nice not to think about work for three days.
We also have a use it or lose it vacation policy. I get 25 days of vacation plus we shut down the week between Christmas and New Years. I need to use up the days 'cause I'm sure as hell not giving back to the company.

We work 4 10 hour days in the summer, so I have Fridays off, too. Truth be told, I work 10 or more hours every day all year, so by summer, I'm usually ready for the long weekend.
