It was an Arvin,,could receive only 3 channels.

I remember the first color tv my parents bought. It was a Zenith. 13 channels plus UHF channels. Where we lived at the time, there were no UHF stations, but it came in handy after we moved back to the Chicago area a few years later. I remember the tv got delivered and the salesman/shop owner unpacked it and set it up. The first show they watched in Color was "All in the Family".

We lived in a little valley and had terrible reception even though there were four or five high-powered stations within 35 miles. My Dad ended up putting up a 75' tower with a rotor antenna on top. We were pulling in stations 100 miles away.
