Roxsanne certainly did drop off the radar. She left once before because she took issue with some censoring of posts. She came back for a while and then - radio silence.

Sometimes I think I'm invisible. One day I was on the train coming home from work and a very attractive young thing sat down opposite me. At one point I notice that she was doing something quite immodest without a care in the world that I was sitting four feet away. Like I said - invisible.

They say the flu is hitting early and hard this year. We have to keep the last word healthy.

When Alaina said she stayed in bed for several days I thought that sounded more like the flu than a cold.

It's not too late to get a flu shot.

I kind of thought the same thing. I had my shot back in early November. Talked my wife and son into getting theirs a week or so before Christmas.

The company I work for makes the flu vaccine. They give them right at work and my son gets his at school. They don't stop every case of flu but I think it's silly not to get them. The flu kills a lot of people every year.

I had a very bad cold once - sweats feeling really bad and looked it by the refection in our mirror, but managed to walk to the Docs..eventually i walked into his room, he said INFLUENZA ! and don't come any closer! he wrote me out my sick note which was what I came in for anyway,..go to bed, and keep warm with hot drinks he said...I always have the flu jab after that bad experience.

My doc talked me into it a couple of years ago. I've been doing it annually ever since. Much better than getting the flu.
