Certainly a mighty steep pyramid to the point where folks are actually earning much of living.

It seems I've always been attracted to non- commercial music
OM45GE - Posted - 12/19/2016: 11:51:31
I as well. I started out playing Rock but shifted to folk and bluegrass and then finger style guitar fairly quickly. The only way to make a small fortune in those genres is to start with a big fortune and use it to support yourself.

That's the best way - when I was playing 4 nighters in the '70's for a few months, it got old pretty quick.

I guess that's where Monroe and Martin went hunting for band members - one of the greatest fiddlers ever was Kenny Baker who had worked in the coal mines. Merle Travis escaped the mines with his guitar, as you likely know.

That's impressive. I can barely cope with one sometimes. I don't know that I would like being that outnumbered.
banjoscotty - Posted - 12/20/2016: 11:28:36
Well,we had us some confusion a time or two but we always
managed to work through them.

My oldest is 56 years old and I find myself still giving advise,,and he lets me advise.
Although I believe he's smiling inside..HA,HA,,and I let him smile.
OM45GE - Posted - 12/21/2016: 06:38:24
Hopefully, at 56 he's realized you're not completely clueless.
OM45GE - Posted - 12/21/2016: 07:33:58
I bet. I was 49 when Ethan was born. I knew a lot more then than I did in my twenties. especially patience. I'm glad I waited.

I actually thought I never would have kids. Then in my forties I realized I really wanted to.

OM45GE - Posted - 12/23/2016: 13:41:02

OM45GE - Posted - 12/24/2016: 04:04:13
I not sure how savvy LW is. He may try to hi-jack a Boston subway.
banjoscotty - Posted - 12/24/2016: 04:37:07
OH,YES,,He can figure out a way to engineer that train in the subway for sure...
OM45GE - Posted - 12/24/2016: 11:39:38
It might be funny to see him tell the conductor to take him to Arizona.
