very, very nice work, dean.....

hey, we still need to hook up one day at lunch to compare goldstars. i'd like to hear about the new gf-100's you played at banjo.com, esp. when compared to your old gf-100. i'm giving some serious consideration to a new gf-200 when they show up this spring.... seems as though i've got the goldstar bug almost as bad as trey has the huber bug

Here are mine. I posted Sammy in an earlier post, but I guess was a bit too far off of the subject line. My apologies to the moderators.
Anyway, the two of Sammy were last Saturday the the Old Rock School in Valdese NC. Taken with a Canon D20 with a Canon 70-200 F4L. The third one is of three Banjo Hangout posters and one banjo poser in the middle! Jim Rollins on the left and Kenny Ingram on the right.

That was a great show...I took those pics and have altogether over 200 pics of Todd at his shows. The top pic is Todd with the archtop that is for sale on ebay. The second pic is Todd with a backup banjo he is no longer playing.

Hi Dean. Nancy here. I just wanted you to know that I am quite a fan of yours. I have seen the pictures that you have done and really enjoyed them...from the ones of that bombing to the ones that you did of Tony and Greg (), to the ones of the thread that I just looked at, and your talent as a photographer is awsome. I think that if you play the banjo even one quarter as well as you photograph others playing, you must be an ace. I really appreciate your art. It's awsome. Thanks for posting the pictures. I enjoyed them.

With your talent as a photographer, you sure won't starve, by the way.

Look at where the finger is in relation to the bridge. Interesting. The worn spot tells where that finger usually rests also.
