Started playing banjo when I was around 8. Took lessons from Jake Peters in Didsbury, Alberta, growing up. Left home for Edmonton. Joined the band Maple Creek and The George Bushes, then formed The Bix Mix Boys in 2006. Married to a wonderful woman, and blessed with a beautiful son and daughter.
