Notes: This is a wonderful traditional eastern European Jewish tune which I arranged for banjo. This is one of those tunes you can get lost in and play until the strings on your banjo wear out. I think my arrangement works rather nicely on a Open G tuned banjo. Be forewarned, however, I am one of the worst banjo players on the planet so if you just want to hear the tune I suggest playing the MIDI as I played (assuming we can call it “playing”) the MP3 on my favorite banjo. Enjoy.

Notes: This banjo arrangement is based on the bouzouki playing by Mikis Theodorakis' original version in the film, and is more or less a straight transcription. I have added a simple guitar accompaniment.
