It was all I hoped it would beeeeeee...
Ordered a bunch of new picks from JDmusic, a fifth string capo (the little brass one) and the Tony Trischka beginner book today. Almost sprung for the quick shipping, but cooler heads prevailed and I will wait patiently. With luck, the package will show up on Friday so I'll have new toys for the weekend. And perhaps I can fix my thumbpick problem.
I use the delrin tipped ProPik, which I like a lot. But lately the lower band has been irritating my thumb, right at the cuticle line. It's like a constant little bruise. I have tried fiddling with the band, but I am afraid to twist it too much in case it breaks. So I ordered two more which gives me back up. I also ordered a couple Ernie Ball pickies to try. I don't know if I'll like them, but I find them fascinating and want to give them a try. For .90 each, why not?
