When it rains it pours! Another new job (past client, we love repeat business!!!) came in today. It's fast track, which is excellent--slam the work out, get done, get paid. This particular client trusts me and my good judgement, so I can manage the job the way I think is best. And that's the best for me AND the client.
I worked thru lunch but quit for a couple hours at suppertime and got a fun 50 minutes in. But the house was chilly and my hands were cold, so I felt a little slow and stiff for the first 10 minutes or so. Once I warmed up, everything was fine. I need to remember to bring my iRiver out of the office and into the living room tomorrow so I can record a couple of tunes I've been having fun with.
While I was playing, my neighbor-in-front's son pulled in and was walking around on the driveway talking on the phone. I tried to play clear and loud enough to catch his attention. Since the house was closed up chances of him hearing me were about nil, but I was prepared just in case :)
Back to work now for a couple of hours, and then a nice full day tomorrow. Spring is good.
