Got my work stuff done this morning and kicked off the weekend at noon with some practice time. Tomorrow, I head to VA for an overnight trip. I have decided to take BB with me instead of Deadbone. My sister has a great front porch, and my parents have a great back porch, and BB sounds great outside.
I really feel as though I have made great strides in the last month. This probably means a plateau is next, but now that I understand why my brain needs a plateau after a jump forward it doesn't feel like a setback in the least. It's all about the learning process. That process is physical--something I really just came to understand recently. There's also a good deal of satisfaction in knowing that since I am learning some new tricks, I am not yet an old dog.
Back on Sunday!
