I got a banjo (Hondo!) for Chrismas from my Mom in '98, and been picking ever since! In addition to the 5-string banjo I've played the piano (semi-professionally, some teaching), violin, guitar, harpsichord etc. Done some (also semi-professional) orchestra conducting.
I've worked in other fields altogether for the last 5 years, but have recently gone back to study history at the Stockholm University. I ran the 2006 Stockholm Marathon, but have since switched to road cycling. Married to Tove, who gracefully lets me play my banjo.
