Well, actually I have taken 3 weeks vacation owing me and will officially retire on April 30th. So there's no going back. I will play and play every day for the rest of my life. How good is that? And hopefully now that I have my evenings free, there will be some pickin' jams and more workshops in my future. I am blessed with reasonable health and three beautiful banjos to spend my retirement with.

Began playing guitar as a teenager 1965. Within 2 years I became a folk singer, following the styles of Lightfoot, Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary etc. and played with various small groups at university coffee houses, small clubs and fall fairs. My part time job in television became full time in 1969. I work for the CTV network in Toronto Canada. The TV biz pays the bills but my true passion is playing music. I bought my first banjo in August 2005. I quickly realized I will be learning for the rest of my days. Thanx to Grant MacNeil at the Twelfth Fret in Toronto, for all the TLC and good advice on all things banjo. I have a grown son and daughter. I dabble in computer graphics, Adobe PhotoShop and digital photography and am an ardent baseball fan.
