This album has been showing up in my Pandora and Spotify feeds. I've spent some time now with the whole album on Bandcamp and I love it. Andrew Epstein's banjo is the standout star here. I hope he records again and soon!

I first tried to pick up the banjo when I was about 7 when Deliverence came out, but I didn't stick with it. After college I picked up the old Harmony and tried again. I felt I was really making progress when I got married and my son was born. I just couldn't find enough time even though I had won a beautiful Gibson in a drawing!
Now I really want to get back into it. Of course it's going to be more complicated now that we just had triplets!
But I just can't seem to get enough clawhammer and old-timey banjo even the old minstrel stuff is just driving me wild these days. I am becomming obsessed again!
