I got my banjo back. The company cleaning my stuff decided that they would do the banjo first. They clearly "get it". Now, I have two banjoes, which i guess is a good problem to have.
So, last night, I got to pull out MY banjo and tune it up. I don't know what it took to clean it, but it obviously involved rotating the tuning pegs a bit.
Anyway, I was just going to spend a minute before bed tuning it up, but I couldn't put it down. An hour later, I was still trying to talk myself into going to bed. I missed my banjo. It was quite the reunion. And everything felt so much more "right". I don't mind the new banjo. It's a good one. But, my banjo and I just get along so well.
So happy to be back with my banjo.:) :) :)
