Wow, I can't believe that it's been so long since I've reported in! After closing my custom list about 4 years ago, I've been pretty focused on simply finishing all the custom orders that I had. I'm happy to announce that the end is in sight, though, and I should finish them all sometime in 2019.
At that point I'm planning on switching up my business model and instead of focusing entirely on anything goes custom banjos, try to create a better balance. I'm hoping to make a couple of basic, workhorse models that I can produce more efficiently, and also do a little experimenting with some designs that I've been wanting to do, but haven't had the time to try. I'd also like to push my engraving skills a little more. I might offer some slightly customized banjos, but I'm still trying to figure out how that would work.
I've started a mailing list that I use to inform people when new Buckeye Banjos banjos become available, and also occasionally use to post used Buckeyes - just let me know if you would like to be added to it.
