1, 2, 4, and then 3. No euro cut (too fat), any color, add a long sleeve option, and lose the ugly Gibson open book headstock.
The Gibson open book is like the most unattractive banjo headstock ever, and the edges are not even cut on the correct angle, square to the headstock face like a guitar! Very un-banjo like.

Hey Folks,
I've been working on some ideas for the 2012 shirts. We'll be finalizing the design in the next week or so. Here are 4 different ideas. What do you think of them? Which one would you pick?
Please let me know which one is your favorite by picking it in this poll.
I'm thinking we'll go with a military green shirt this year--like companycasuals.com/I-PRINTFORY...Id=%20624 Let me know what you think of that color as well.
Also, on shirt styles--what do you think of the "euro cut" t-shirts that are more popular these days? They're generally slimmer all around. More stylish, but I don't want to get them if you would prefer a standard T.
On #4 I'll probably add a 5th string tuner to the neck... and maybe enlarge the pot some. None of these designs is finished--they're all just initial ideas.

Number 2 in military green would look great, standard fit. Pam in N.C.

I like #3 but it looks like a battle between #1 and #2 so if it comes down to that I say #2 regular T works just fine I like the green

I like #2 the best in standard T. One thing I'd like to have in a T-shirt is a pocket - good for picks and pens.

#1 (I voted in the poll). The green is nice. I prefer the euro style, but I am a small woman. I also like the idea of a long sleeve alternative. Nice work, Eric.

I prefer #1 with mention of 5th anniversary in 2x standard size T-Shirt. Color-yellow, kakai, blue, or black.

#1 could be either a 5- or 4-string banjo (unless you look real close and count the strings) with the 5th tuner covered up, so I'll vote for it. Number 3 has a nice retro 1960s look, but maybe it hints at acid trips by banjo players. I don't think many of us are interested in a slimmer Euro-style shirt.

#1 is too bland... My vote goes to #2!

I like #2 ..... 3 is a bit busy, but 1 or 2 would be nice ... Nice job on the designs ..
wimmeraboy - Posted - 11/29/2011: 14:37:43
# 2 in military green and standard cut would be just fine
squirtnf - Posted - 11/29/2011: 14:39:58
#1 and #2 in that order. Standard fit . Will you have woman's sizing as well?
Nelson - Posted - 11/29/2011: 14:40:33
My vote is for #2 but I could live with #1. I think the color scheme just pops in #2... looks good. I would prefer a standard cut T-shirt. I don't really know what a "euro" cut would look like on me... If you go that way I guess I will find out.
blugrssmom - Posted - 11/29/2011: 15:06:03
I like the regular fit also. I voted for design #1 but also like design #2 almost equally. I like the idea of the 5th aniv. design of #1 though.

3. Euro cut.
1 emphasizes the numbers way too much. Is the shirt about playing the banjo or about 5 and 2012? It also has an infomercial feel to it.
2 looks amateur, the greens don't match, the red banjo is too imposing and doesn't have enough contrast with the black details.
3 is the strongest design-wise, hard to read but the design makes up for it. It's easily the best.
4 also emphasizes 2012 too much, but the prominent banjo makes up for that. I'm not sure why the BanjoHangout logo is repeated right next to the words "Banjo Hangout." It also seems to mix two design metaphors - old west (the main font) and Soviet propaganda (the 2012 and star), neither are bad on their own, but why mix them? All that aside, it's the second best. The blue is a lot more friendly than military green.

2 or 4....as for sizing the 2011 tee has kept its shape and is much treasured the 2010 tee kinda lost it after a few washes so whatever you did last year do it again!
Mooh - Posted - 11/29/2011: 15:14:47
Three. One. Two. Four. In that order, but they're all pretty good.
cullinan6 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 15:16:11
If we go with the military green, then 2 is my choice. No. 1 looks good in blue. NO Euro design. I need a regular T for my large body!
imforhim - Posted - 11/29/2011: 15:16:36
All great. I like #3. But please don't go
with a Euro cut or anything less than
standard sizing. All my pickin friends
have grown in skill and girth!!!
Iain - Posted - 11/29/2011: 15:18:21
# 1 is my favorite (historical dimension, also design). I would prefer a standard cut. Lot of good work. Thanks Iain
Letspic - Posted - 11/29/2011: 15:22:49
I voted for #1, but # 2 is very close. On #1, I would emphaise "Anniversary" and minimize "union"!! On #2, I would enlarge and emphaize "Banjo" and again minimize "Union" . To me, the word union implies a big negative.... except in marriage!!
awol13 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 15:32:16
I'm likin' that #2 I just might need a couple before hard times hits us banjer players!!!
Carver99 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 16:06:14
Style # 1 but in a blue like 1 or 4, green is ok but my military days are far behind me. Standard T's are best! :o)
caddielad - Posted - 11/29/2011: 16:28:22
Number 4 Bobby Orr...
Reminds me of one of the old concert posters...
'Banjo Hangout World Tour 2012' ?
BillyH - Posted - 11/29/2011: 16:29:27
I like # 2 the best with # 4 coming in a distant 2nd.
Don't care for the others too much.
Crustee - Posted - 11/29/2011: 16:30:37
#2 1st pick in standard tee... like #4 and I think you should offer #1 as an anniversary edition tee ... you can put my order in for all three... ;)
