No. 1 gets my vote, with no. 2 a close second. Either would be OK with me.
I agree with BanjoFlyboy that an optional long-sleeved version would be good.
Mahakrishna - Posted - 11/30/2011: 07:09:26
I agree 100% with SirRight especially about #4!!!! Number 2 got my vote. And Standard T all the way. No EuroT(rash).
wingnusa - Posted - 11/30/2011: 07:42:55
I'm up for #1 first and #4 in second place. Standard fit please...
pickercymru - Posted - 11/30/2011: 08:26:36
1 - 4 - 2 - 3 in order of preference. The slimmer fit has me worried ha ha!
schlange - Posted - 11/30/2011: 09:24:04
I think #3 is a real polarizer--which I figured would happen. Folks who like the 60's, hippies, LSD, etc like it a lot. But folks who aren't fans of that era really DON'T like it. I think it's got some real potential, but it looks like it won't be this year's union shirt.
fzartvaark - Posted - 11/30/2011: 09:38:58
Number 2 gets my vote. Regular T.. They're all pretty cool though
The Cadaver - Posted - 11/30/2011: 10:12:47
#3 would look good on Jerry Garcia, .... if he weren't dead. 1 and 2 are both fine, with #4 a close runner up.

2-4-1-3
Three is too hard to read. You glance at it on the street, attempt to read it for a second or two, then forget the whole encounter and go on about your business. If you have to stop and think about it to try sort it out to read it, you are defeating the whole purpose of the advertising concept.
Is that "Banjo handout players union"?

#2 is my choice. Would like to see another shirt with a pocket. One year you had one and it came in quite handy.
schlange - Posted - 11/30/2011: 12:09:48
The only pocket T we've ever done is the Banjo Star pocket T. Problem is, it's been one of the worst-selling shirt designs ever. Not sure if that's because of the design, or the pocket... but I'm quite leery of doing pocket T's for the Union shirts because of that.

#1 because The important info is in plain script. And banjo hangout is the first thing written on the shirt.
Standard because i'm not really sure what size i take in a euro shirt.
Otherwise I like them all, with 2 being my least favorite. I don't like the big solid block of design too hard to distinguish what's going on from a distance.
jbell - Posted - 11/30/2011: 13:26:56
Style #1 in the light blue. Good job. Style #2, second choice.
dthomas - Posted - 11/30/2011: 14:43:35
1 first and 2 second, leaning toward two, i like the red in red for some reason, yea to a long sleeve!

The Players Union TEE for 2012 - Should have a POCKET TEE option !
Don Shriner - Posted - 11/30/2011: 22:15:00
#1 with a pocket, made in USA if possible. Just regular American/Canadian sizes, Playing the banjo has cut into my gym time lately.
Dexter - Posted - 12/01/2011: 11:30:47
Like 2 the best...green is good....standard is good for us old fat guys.......![]()
Lynne - Posted - 12/01/2011: 12:37:46
I do like #3 but I don't think it's easy to read. I have a tied dyed t shirt so I certainly would wear a hippy banjo shirt.
trapdoor2 - Posted - 12/01/2011: 15:58:04
#2 Std. T, no euro cut. XXXL, please.
My US Army friends will love it. ![]()
#1 would be my 2nd choice.
banjo95 - Posted - 12/01/2011: 21:02:51
I say #1 and then #3. Standard cut, anything OD green is good.

I've been working on some ideas for the 2012 shirts. We'll be finalizing the design in the next week or so. Here are 4 different ideas. What do you think of them? Which one would you pick?
Please let me know which one is your favorite by picking it in this poll.
I'm thinking we'll go with a military green shirt this year--like companycasuals.com/I-PRINTFORY...Id=%20624 Let me know what you think of that color as well.
Also, on shirt styles--what do you think of the "euro cut" t-shirts that are more popular these days? They're generally slimmer all around. More stylish, but I don't want to get them if you would prefer a standard T.
On #4 I'll probably add a 5th string tuner to the neck... and maybe enlarge the pot some. None of these designs is finished--they're all just initial ideas.
Tinfoot - Posted - 12/02/2011: 19:42:10
Ick, number #2 is currently in the lead. :(
It looks like a website logo... too much like a website logo. :P
Hoss - Posted - 12/02/2011: 21:39:48
Definitely #4 with the changes you described. Green would be fine. Standard style please: Euro-cut won't fit my gut!
thedewberry - Posted - 12/02/2011: 23:33:34
Great job on all the designs. #s 2 and 4 get my vote. Definitely standard fit.

A few thoughts here for your consideration. I think it would be a good idea to show the different designs against the same colour background as I think people can be unwittingly influenced by a background colour they really like or hate.
I previously stated I was in favour of design #4. Should anyone care here are my reasons:
#1- The number "5" is way more prominent than the banjo. I personally like a t-shirt that clearly displays a banjo.
#2- Like Tinfoot said it looks like a website logo.
#3- Looks like it was designed for an Austin Powers movie. Groovy baby, very 70's but what that has to do with banjos is lost on me.
#4-A banjo is the first thing to catch the eye. It looks a bit like a festival poster...could be bluegrass or old time. Apart from the robin-egg blue background which I really dislike the design works.
I hope this isn't coming across as being overly critical. All of them are a heck of a lot better than I could do myself! I think you'll have a hard time besting the 2011 design which I think is excellent.
Ken Mooney - Posted - 12/03/2011: 21:14:50
I like #4 best, but ya It needs a 5th string peg. #4 shows the best BANJO !!!!
schlange - Posted - 12/05/2011: 12:41:19
We're going with #1 this year. Probably use versions of 2 and 4 in coming years. Thanks everyone for the feedback!
LarryD1 - Posted - 12/05/2011: 15:14:07
I like number 1 style the best. I also prefer the standard TEE.
dipstick - Posted - 12/05/2011: 23:29:51
I'm for the military color #2 with the #1 design standard cut.
