Number 1 or number 2. Standard cut. Just a note, I have always liked the logo on the back of the shirt with a small one on the front left chest or on the sleeve

magott-dangler - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:21:55

Number 2 please, gotta be a standard fit. Good work Eric thanks. Regards Keith

#2 and +1 to a long sleeve!

JLB - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:22:33

I'd like to congratulate jhar43 on his first BHO post after being a member since 2007. Keep it up.   smiley

#1. standard cut. It would stand out with black on white. just sayin'.

DoubleG - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:23:07

#5 for me.

rachel.love - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:23:58

I actually like all the designs except for #2.

#3 is particularly cool and would look best on the army green color you prefer. (I like this color: companycasuals.com/I-PRINTFORY...entId=624)

Whatever design you end up going with can you make them in women's-style t-shirts as well? I will never wear a men's cut t-shirt because they don't fit right. :)

Something like this:

companycasuals.com/I-PRINTFORY...d=7201091

or this:

This is pretty cute too:

Ok, cheers!

Rachel

#1 gets my vote. As far as the cut, most of the pickers I know could not fit into a euro cut. We need loose fitting shirts.

George Loughery - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:25:30

#2 because it the words "Banjo Hangout" stand out. I really like #3, but I wouldn't want to go drinking in it...hey, isn't that the Zig Zag man hidden among the letters?

American t-shirts should be standard. Eric you look slim, but us "stout" folks absolutely hate the euro cut for both the slim waist, the neck line, and the tighter short sleeves. I looked good in euro cut shirts 30 years ago when my chest was larger than my waist, but somewhere in my 40's my body turned upside down. I don't wear black socks with shorts yet, but I felt the urge once this past summer!

By the way, it's not military green, it's ARMY GREEN! ARMY STRONG!

2 > 4 > 1 > 3 in descending order would be my choice.
A long sleeved version would be good as would a polo-type with a breast pocket.
Who says banjo players have no sense of style?

SaggyBottom - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:26:38

It's about banjos and I don't think any of them emphasize that. Union and 2012 seem to be most prominent. I say make the banjo bigger and union and 2012 smaller. Banjo should be the star.

crishergirl - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:26:58

I like the 60's vibe going on in #3

rstieg - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:27:14

So #4 is the only one with the design on the back? I like that design and #1 best, but I'd want it on the front. Also, if you go with military green (not my favorite, I'd prefer blue), would design #1 be in white instead of black? And I definitely agree with adding a 5th string peg and the standard / roomy cut.

Maybe do a Stelling headstock? :-)

#2 for me standard tee or I like the henley style idea. Not wild about the color.IMHO

schlange - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:28:15

Great feedback everyone--keep it coming!

deaconbill - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:29:13

#1 then #2 but both in standard fit

lg9455 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:30:15

I like #1 or #4 in standard T for that "I belong to this group" look. #2 and #3 look to much like those souvener T's
you get while on vacation then never wear again.

Frailblazer - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:30:29

#4

chancy - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:30:32

I love all the little banjos place inside the headstock design of number 3. I'm a tad bit fluffy so standard fit please.

Rick Woods - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:30:59

#1 gets my vote!

ojnab1 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:31:33

I like #4 best, #3 least.

chancy - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:33:57

If you could put whichever design wins on a dark colored shirt that would be awesome. Dark colors help hide the fluffy. Thanks.

Little_Cowgirl - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:34:30

I picked #4--a little bit hipper without being too crazy. I also like #3 but the design is way too big. I liked how this year's fit, too--not too boxy.

rickhayes - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:34:40

I think I like #2 best, followed by #1. Green is OK but the color doesn't matter much. However, when I checked this morning, I wasn't "generally slimmer all around", so let's skip the Euro stylish and go for the fittish.

TTreppa - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:35:17

Number four #4 because it is easy to see the banjo.

jblovel - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:35:27

4 Standard

TC - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:36:09

#3 the best! #1 the least!

Royalott - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:39:05

#1 Standard. I am not slim and don't need a slim T shirt :D

un5trung - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:39:24

I like 3 but I'm going with 4.

Best of luck to all the designers!

schlange - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:39:39

This year we've got a few good designs, I think--so if we don't pick one of them for this year, I might use it next year.

So far #1 is ahead in the poll. Sounds like a standard-fit T is the way to go. I like the euro-cut myself, to show off my manly figure. :-) But we'll go standard if that's what most folks want!

treeandkaren - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:39:56

I like #1 with #4 coming in second. Please do the standard fit. My "slim" days have long since passed. I don't personally care for military green--anything but black or military green, even light green is good.

roady24 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:41:32

I like #2 first then #1 but lighter colors are better for the hot sunny days when most festivals are on.

AD3AD3AD3 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:41:36

#1 and #4 look pretty good but #4 needs a thinner neck and a 5th string peg. Also, the Euro look is fine.

rinemb - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:46:49

#3, coming from an ex-hippie/age biased point of reference.  Brad

PlanoBob - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:48:03

I prefer 1 and 4, in that order

kslyter - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:48:25

I vote for #1 or #5.

Stivini61 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:53:04

#3 then #4, but lose the Banjo Hangout logo in the lower right corner.

pumpkiono - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:53:07

Number 4 shirt is by far the cleanest design. The others are way too busy. I agree that the shirts should be standard not euro cut. Number 4!!!!

Franz - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:53:37

#1 is my favourite - I don't feel that a military colour (#2) goes very well with peaceful picking....

CA Banjer - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:54:38

I'd suggest changing the color of each design example to military green so everyone can see what THAT would look like. Design-wise I like #4 the best. I like #3, but not for a T - maybe a sticker??

Klondike Waldo - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:56:26

I like #1- says it all, including the 5th Anniversary. I may be a lot slimmer than I was 5 years ago ( Like 62 lbs slimmer  and down to a Medium T shirt from XL,) but  no Euro cut for me, thanks.

cmtpres - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:58:11

#1 and standard T

jrjoplin - Posted - 11/29/2011:  11:59:41

#3 is an outstanding design, very cool aesthetically. #4 is also a shirt I'd be proud to own and wear. I like the slimmer fitting tees; my favorite Pete Seeger tee is a slim fit, and I like the way it wears.

wb4yal - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:02:21

I vote for #2, Eric.

jon1litty - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:06:17

#2 Looks good to me.

pickingfive - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:08:07

Number 2

Scott_Clarke - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:08:38

I like #2 much better than the others, especially if the shirts will be military green. And I would much prefer the standard t-shirt fit.

Busuli - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:09:33

Hi folks,

# 4 is my favorite, don't know why, but like it :-) Next is # 2 ! The shirt also should be "standard" not euro cut :-)

Keep on pickin'

ULI

HerbDan - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:10:10

# 1

Standard Cut

Would prefer blue as in examjple

JD-RB5 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:11:16

#2 Please on a loose fitting American standard T-shirt. Great designs all round Eric!
