My vote is for design number #2- see to read and I like the color too. I do like the #1 says 5 year anniversary

Hey Folks,

I've been working on some ideas for the 2012 shirts. We'll be finalizing the design in the next week or so. Here are 4 different ideas. What do you think of them? Which one would you pick?

Please let me know which one is your favorite by picking it in this poll.

I'm thinking we'll go with a military green shirt this year--like companycasuals.com/I-PRINTFORY...Id=%20624 Let me know what you think of that color as well.

Also, on shirt styles--what do you think of the "euro cut" t-shirts that are more popular these days? They're generally slimmer all around. More stylish, but I don't want to get them if you would prefer a standard T.

On #4 I'll probably add a 5th string tuner to the neck... and maybe enlarge the pot some. None of these designs is finished--they're all just initial ideas.

#1 - 5th anniversary is worth calling attention to

green color fine, but No to slim/euro sizing - I'd vote for regular US sizing

all the art is great

kebgo - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:17:57

I like shirt #1 because it's important to highlight the anniversary. If you go with the military green, may need to work a bit with the colors in the logo.

bbeckner - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:18:42

they all look good. I prefer #2, standard T. Military green.

GO  WITH  #  1 ,  MAYBE  HAVE  SOME  DIFFERENT COLOR  T- SHIRT (  I  WEAR  XXL ) .  I  WAS  THINKING  ABOUT NEXT  YEAR / TIME ? , COULD  YOU HAVE  A  OUTLINE  OF  AN OLD HILL BILLY / MT. SHACK  BROKEN  DOWN  WITH  PORCH  .  WITH A  OLD  MAN / WOMAN  SETTING IN  FRONT  OF  IT   AND   SETTING IN A   BROKEN DOWN  ROCKING  CHAIR  PLAYING  A  BANJO ?. MAYBE  A JUG OF  WHISKEY  SETTING ON THE  GROUND  WITH XXX  ACROSS  THE  BOTTLE ?, IT WOULD BE  AN OUT LINE   TYPE  OF  DESIGN . YOU HAVE  SEEN  THEM -  IT'S  NOT A  COMPLETE  DESIGN , ONLY THE OUT LINES  AND  SOME  FILL IN'S  TO MAKE  THE PRINTING  EASIER . YOU COULD  ASK  YOUR  PICKER'S / READER'S  FOR  SOME  INPUT / HELP, SOME  MIGHT  BE  ARTIST'S ?.   DOUG  TEAGLE / BEAGLE812

#2

cframe - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:23:43

I like 1 and 4 the best (voted for 4 in the poll), 3 the least.

My body has not been in Euro shape for many years!

StraitsBlueGal - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:24:31

Standard fit!  Euro cut (if it is like American Apparel women's tees) means a L has to order a XXL, and what do the poor XXLs do?

BEAGLE812 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:24:34

GO WITH # 1 , BUT NEXT YEAR MAKE A PICTURE OF TENN. Mt'S AN OLD HOUSE WITH AN OLD BANJO PICKER SETTING IN AN OLD CHAIR , AS JUST AN OUT LINE . ASK YOUR READERS FOR SOME IMPUT . I'M SURE YOU HAVE LOT'S OF ARTIST THAT COULD GET YOU SOME IDEAS .

schlange - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:24:45

If we went with #1 we definitely wouldn't do the colors you see... it would be light colors to set it off from the darker shirt.

FrankZ1925 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:24:51

#2 gets my vote. Military green is good in the euro style.

94nole - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:25:54

I voted in the poll.

I prefer design #1. I also think the military green shirt color would be fine however, not sure how the black design would work with it.

not euro on the style/sizing. You skinny guys can get away with that but most of us can't.

Old Wecn Frail - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:26:55

No.1 for me, you can see its about a banjo at first glance.

Skinner - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:33:16

I like #1 in a standart T-shirt.

jdpowers - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:33:20

I like #2 and #3.  I really like the design of #2 the best but agree with others on the throwback of #2 to 60's Woodstock.

kevinwholmes - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:34:39

#2 standard

pastorjohnny60 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:36:29

I like #2 and the standard t-shirt.

courgettelawn - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:37:11

A little plea for number three! What a clever design -- all the small banjos making up the letters--far more subtle than the other designs. I would consider a summer sleeveless version.

mlvo - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:38:24

Like nos 1 & 2, think the green is a good color. Slimmer fit, really? We're banjo players man...most of us prob need the standard fit :)

the.hogman - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:41:06

Standard please. I voted for the shirt in the poll like you asked.

PaulKirby - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:41:06

Number 3, €uro cut.

Docmhc - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:41:45

How about a pocket? I'm not too interested in a t-shirt without a pocket.

rb3steve - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:42:40

quote: Cool designs. I voted for #1 but would like to see your design on the back with a small Hangout logo on front left. Green is ok but no black. Traditional cut is also my preference. Thanks for asking.

#1, followed by #3. Standard fit tee.

wbgair - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:47:40

I'm for #1 or#2 but please, not #3 (one can't even tell what it says unless you study it! As for 2011's shirt (though it is too late to vote) - - it is pretty ugly. I got it to support the site.

tfoley - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:47:53

I vote for #4.

wjrolek - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:48:24

#2 standard! WJR

Prof - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:51:38

Not a big fan of drab green, but #2 design gets my vote in a standard T...Style 3 would be my very last choice -- too much like a "hippy" shirt from the 70s.....

AmishPicker - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:54:58

#4 loose fit :)

xixiant - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:55:01

#4!

Followed by #1. (I'd vote for #3, but it looks like a non-starter, alas)

European, please! Or a women's option!

NHBORN - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:55:54

I like them all. So whatever is chosen is good with me but I am not for the euro t at all. I am not a euro t shaped guy if yall know what I mean. The designs are great.

Strelnieks - Posted - 11/29/2011:  12:57:39

#4 is missing the fifth string peg!

I am slim and could wear either, but I think I'd prefer the standard T model.

Pepper Laing - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:00:51

3 for me, something a bit different than the past ones, green is good, and either fit is fine.

Kay Annable - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:02:39

#2, military green and Euro cut, for the women, is nice as it makes the body look like it has some shape, rather than hiding it with a straight T. Maybe both options could be available for those who are not as comfortable with the Euro cut.

EnglishWolf - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:03:29

#2, but could you work the 5year anniv into it? Then that would combine the best of both the two most popular designs!

ps. Long Sleeve please!

1901 Fairbanks - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:06:43

My vote is for #3 (I'm an old HIPPIE) and standard cut (I'm an OLD hippie).

pkstaley - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:07:25

#1 is my favorite (very nice!), then #4, #2, #3.

Kay Annable - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:08:35

#2, army green for the women. It makes us look like we have some shape. Maybe the men would prefer the regular T. What about offering both?

Roland317 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:09:05

I like number 3 with regular fit

frank shaw - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:10:34

I'll go for #2

TinyGiraffe - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:10:34

I like number 2 and prefer just the regular size T shirt. I do like the army green color.

Kay Annable - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:10:45

That SHOULD HAVE READ, 2 ARMY GREEN, EURO CUT FOR THE WOMEN. Got all excited that the green might be the chosen colour.

Heavy Duty - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:14:24

My vote is #1, but not on green.  If on green, then #2.  Standard T is my vote.

JWC2 - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:14:52

They all look great and a lot of work would have gone into the designing of them but number 1 gets my vote PS would look better if it had a V neck.

Ozarkwoods - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:15:02

I voted but I also vote for the standard T

Norwegianplayer - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:17:38

#2 works for me, with euro cut.

Don Borchelt - Posted - 11/29/2011:  13:26:47

#4.  Right now, #1 is in the lead, but No.4 is a much better design.  The five year anniversary aspect of #1 reads very poorly.  Sorry to whoever designed it.

Oops! I meant #4 (not trying to be a smart_s_). The graphic is clean an higher up on the shirt if you want to tuck and  the banjo Hangout logo is discreet but still there. The back graphic is awesome and the blue shirt looks great.
