I like 1 the best, military green is ok. I'm ok with the Euro fit, but don't mind standard if that's the majority. I like design 2 also, but the background banjo looks a little bit like a football on my small laptop screen.
wsharp - Posted - 11/29/2011: 16:38:39
Euro fit is much nicer for us ladies. The regular cut makes me feel like I'm wearing a box. thanks for your efforts.

I like in this order #4, #2, #1 & #3 in a traditional fit t-shirt. My favorite still is the 2010 design

I like #1...standard cut. I don't care for military green though. Light blue would be better.
Superdave72 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 16:55:09
Standard T need room for my pot ;-), any chance for synthetic hoodies? Cotton stretches to easily
Ziggy - Posted - 11/29/2011: 16:56:33
I vote for the regular t-shirt. A lot of us are not built for slim shirts.

Number 4 gets my vote. Not sure what size - I like the woman's tee, but one year it was ridiculously small, even in the extra large.
Number 1 is my second vote.
Number is 3 is last place, so I guess number 2 is in 3rd.
monradon - Posted - 11/29/2011: 17:20:11
Number 1 with standard tshirt . It gets warm during jamming season !!!!
jhaner - Posted - 11/29/2011: 17:52:33
Design #1. The green color and shirt type in your example (link) are great! Thanks Eric!!
ccress - Posted - 11/29/2011: 18:01:59
I like #2 and next best #1 and I also like the idea of a long sleeve shirt!!
7M4 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 18:03:07
#2. And this year I plan on getting off my cheap lazy butt and joining the union!
JanetB - Posted - 11/29/2011: 18:06:09
I like one and four. The t-shirt is fun to wear, especially to school when I can threaten the admiration with a grievance to my union. You would back me up, wouldn't you? ![]()
cmox - Posted - 11/29/2011: 18:06:38
Like # 1 and #4. Don't like O.D. green. Like blues, reds, browns. Don't think euro cut will work well with "american cut" bodies. Like BanjoFlyboy's idea of a long sleeve option. Thanks for asking.

I like #1 and #4 the best , I definitely dont like #3 LOL I also prefer a " bigger" fit :) I would also like to say that I enjoy having something on the back even if it is just "Banjohangout.org" Like 2008 and 2009 I would also like to see it in a long sleeve version as an option for every design we do yearly when Im out on the lake bass fishin in the spring or fall I like to sport my love of the banjo and need to stay warm while catchin those hawgs !!! I would buy a short and long sleeve every year of each design we do , Green works for me but what color would the design be ? seems like a lighter color to stand out against the green would be in order maybe yellow or white ? Just my $0.02 :)
p.s. I was trying to come up with a nifty way of displaying all my union t shirts thought of hanging each one on a banjo lol but it didint turn out right and I am not too creative so thought id just lay em all out and snap a shot. I am very proud to be associated with BHO and proud to pay for Union Membership Lord knows I have learned tons over the years and appreciate each and everyone of you here !

#2 standard cut is my first pick, #1 would be my second...........................like someone else said "my USA body doesn't look good in a tight fit European cut"![]()
Bill Rogers - Posted - 11/29/2011: 18:45:04
#2 -- I think it's "cleaner." Color's fine; standard fit best; too many banjo pickers have enjoyed too much beer for the "trim" look.![]()
pcchip57 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 18:59:44
# 2 is my pick. I would really like to see this on the Back of the shirt with the front having a smaller simple BanjoHangout wording on the upper left.
tassiespirit - Posted - 11/29/2011: 19:05:31
Yep. #1 about the 5th anniversary and then maybe #2, #3 is too retro and looks like it has bullet holes in the headstock lol and #4 is OK, looks like the US civil war era to me which is cool.
Lizardo - Posted - 11/29/2011: 19:25:41
I like #1 and I like it in the blue. And this years women's shirts fit AWESOME!!!!! Please keep the women's shirt the same cut (and I am so thankful you even have a shirt for woman that isn't a stupid baby doll tee!). I wish I would have purchased another one or one form the previous year.
BanjoKat2 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 19:36:30
I agree with SirRight. IN addition, # 3 looks impolite - just a bit not polite. I voted for #2 - it's great.
BanjoKat2 - Posted - 11/29/2011: 19:39:02
Maybe a girl should model the #1 for you - just wondered if the placement of the drum would look weird on a girl. Just wondered.

Please let me know which one is your favorite by picking it in this poll.
I'm thinking we'll go with a military green shirt this year--like companycasuals.com/I-PRINTFORY...Id=%20624 Let me know what you think of that color as well.
Also, on shirt styles--what do you think of the "euro cut" t-shirts that are more popular these days? They're generally slimmer all around. More stylish, but I don't want to get them if you would prefer a standard T.
On #4 I'll probably add a 5th string tuner to the neck... and maybe enlarge the pot some. None of these designs is finished--they're all just initial ideas.

I do like some of the artistry in #1 (but wished it had more of a centeredness). I also like the blue color in #1. So I guess I'm gonna have to go with...banjo head drum roll...#2! Sure wouldn't mind a shirt version that didn't conjure up the negative connotations that the word "union" brings with it. But hey, I love my bluegrass "brethren" (womenren too), and I love this site, so drop those rotten tomatoes friends, and lets PICK!

I like #1 & 2 best. I also like the green color you've picked. Would like the Lady shirt sizes again please! ![]()

I voted for #2. Standard cut, please. The green color is great.

I like the design of #3 but would much prefer it on a black t-shirt. In fact, any design on a black t-shirt.
JimTierney - Posted - 11/30/2011: 01:19:27
#1 in a Standard T, although I'd have to agree with the other poster who asked for a long sleeved version as well.

#3 for me. looks the most radical. or #4 is quite different to other years. I'm one of those boring people who keeps each years T shirt and still wears them (to death) so it's good for me if they look very different.
Stanman - Posted - 11/30/2011: 04:47:11
I prefer the standard fit. Changing the cut adds to the difficulty in ordering to get a goof fit. As I look around, there are a lot of people that don't look like a narrow cut would work on -- myself included..
vega long neck - Posted - 11/30/2011: 05:26:46
All look good to me except #3; I think it looks too busy.
Speaking of options, some of us older folks need to carry (use?) glasses and a pocket would be handy. If I buy a Tee I only buy ones that have a pocket for just that reason. I also agree with the input for long sleeves. Variety is good.
As a real "discussion starter" how about a choice of banjo images? BG, Old Time, Plectrum, Long neck........... Seems about 98% of commercial images are of BG, resonator, banjos. I've never owned one, doubt I ever will.
