I am stuck. After learning tunes by memory there is always a two bar phrase that i completely forget. I call them 1st endings because they usually are the transition from the A section to the B section. Not necessarily the 1st ending, but maybe you know what I mean. It's driving me nuts. I keep having to go back and relearn the tunes that I thought I had memorized. Which ends up taking time away from learning new tunes. i think if the tunes I am learning weren't all arranged by the same person they might be more distinct from each other. This is the second memorization problem I'm having as I will "mix and match" parts from one tune onto another.
Just trying to be patient with myself but sometimes it gets hard.
