I made huge amounts of 2X thick lasagna when my kids were in elementary school. I went to the store, picked up 2 boxes of Catelli lasagna pasta and used the recipe on the box as my shopping list. They knew exactly how to reheat from frozen in the microwave, afterschool kid friends included.

For some of my kid's friends, this would be the first nutritious thing that they had eaten all day.
We talked it over and agreed that silence was golden, just feed everybody.

Seasoned burger stuffed green pepper. Oven baked onion rings, curly fries. Salad/rabbit foodie things.
Crown Royal Canadian Rye vanilla whiskey is a novelty. Poor vanilla taste. The Apple one is good.

A while back we were talking about Jalapeño peppers and I was going to make and can some Candied jalapeño peppers. Well, the product is finished and although the flavor and sweetness is great, I am sorry to say that I probably got the hottest damn batch of jalapeños I’ve ever tasted!!! They are just fire and take your breath away and almost inedible. I chopped up some raw ones to add to the Bionic Beer Chili out at camp this last weekend and same results. Just too damn hot , and I’m not one to shy away from heat !!! I love the candied jalapeños on a saltine cracker with cream cheese smeared on em, and thought the cream cheese would cool it a bit………WRONG !!!
These are the peppers from Hell !!! Very disappointed Yooper!!!

STUD, I sent you the link to the recipe I used. Flavor is great and spot on for me , just the damn peppers are not your usual jalapeños.
Anyone else interested in the recipe , Google Thechunkychef. Candied jalapeños.

It was supposed to be cheeseburgers but my glance at the buns in the cabinet did not reveal that they were covered in mold until I had already cooked the meat. Did not choose to run to store so I cooked a pot of rice, made brown gravy, and had hamburger steaks.

That sounds pretty good, but I like mine over some broad, egg noodles.

I too, have felt the sting of the moldy bread surprise. Adapt, Improvise, Overcome!

When last I was growing peppers, I had variations in how hot my end product was. I was advised to plant more pepper plants (at least 8) and plant them away from my green peppers and banana peppers. I was told the cross pollination might be taking the "pep" out of my jalapenos. Is it true? All I can say is my next crop of peppers was peppier!

That's OK. Be thankful that you can stand up and stand up long enough to do the dishes.
It's a hell of a thing, sideways on a barstool, to clean up much of anything.

Chili:
Coarse ground venison, anchor and red jalapenos, onion, a jar of Stonewall Kitchen chili base, chili and chipotle powders. Sour cream, guacamole, tortilla chips, and cheese dip with jalapenos, Velveeta "cheese" milk, and Frank's Red Hot.

I always and insist on washing the pots and pans and knives. Our everyday dishes got to the dishwasher, the delicate fancier stuff is always a team effort, wife washes-I dry. Excuse for another glass of wine or whiskey, eh.
