I'm from the U.P. (upper peninsula) of Michigan and I needed to take up another hobby for our long winters besides ice fishing. Have played guitar all my life on and off and still can't play an entire song all the way through. Just bits an pieces and a few licks. I want to learn the right way with the jo, and am determined and have the time to do it. Love it so far-can't put it down. Not many pickers in the U.P. so will be learning a lot from online and others at the BHO.
