I was lucky enough to both hear Mac Benford play this tune live, and to have my mp3 recorder on hand at the time so I could learn it myself later! Mac said he based his arrangement on the fiddlin of J.P. Fraley. My brother is providing the rhythmic accompaniment on his guitar top.

When I first heard this tune off Paul Brown's album "Red Clay Country" (highly recommended!), I couldn't rest until I learned it. The banjo is fingerpicked (sans picks) in the tuninig d#A#D#A#C. My brother Rob is on guitar and harmony vocals.

Another example of a version of a tune I had to learn immediately after first hearing it. This is based HEAVILY on Mary Z. Cox's rendition from her album "Vintage Banjo" (if you don't have it, get it), basically because I couldn't think of any way to improve upon it! My brother is on guitar.
