I'm 18 years old and started playing banjo when I was 13, but didn't really grow a passion for it until a year ago when I began to really practice and put some major hours in on the great instrument. My family started a bluegrass band when I was about 13, and I've played upright bass in that band until this past year when I started to switch over to playing banjo more. I've played music since I was small, yet didn't grow to love it and focus in on an instrument until this past year on the banjo.
