I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for buying my next banjo. I have a GoldTone cc100rp which was a nice enough banjo, but now Im improving and feel the need for a better sounding banjo, cos I feel that the GoldTone doesnt sound like what I hear on records or videos. I dont know if Im being picky (no pun intended) or if the GoldTone does indeed have an inferior tone. I am in a position to be able to afford a better banjo now without going over the top as I am still a relative novice.
Any suggestions would be greatfuly appreciated, cheers the now, Leth

I have just started playing the banjo, I have years of experience playing bass guitar in a rock band but have developed a new love of bluegrass. Desperate to learn banjo but finding it tough without a teacher to help
