need help

I have just started playing banjo after years of playing bass and guitar in a rock band, but I am finding the technique of finger picking quite difficult to master and I would love to track down a teacher who lives reasonably close to me ( west coast of Scotland) Anyone out there who is interested I would love to get in touch. I am gradually coming along but feel a teacher would really get things moving

Hi Letham, Try hunting through the members for people in Scotland. Hit the homepages button in the menu above this blog, and you'll find a search. If that doesn't work, post a thread with Scotland in the title. I'm sure you'll get a result, Cheers, JJ
