Dannah Music Is Suspending Operations

Tuesday, March 18, 2014

Opening in 2009, Dannah Music has enjoyed over four years of selling quality musical instruments. Beginning April 1, 2014, we will regrettably cease operations. Significant cost increases from our main supplier prevents us from continuing to offer the affordable pricing of the past. This has been an integral part of our business philosophy and a requirement for future success.

We would specifically like to thank our hundreds of customers that made Dannah Music such a rewarding experience. Additionally, we would like to express our appreciation to the majority of our suppliers that have supported us and our commitment to quality and low pricing.

I began playing the banjo in college in the 70’s. After a few years, my musical instruments were set aside and family and career consumed my life. After many years in management, I left the corporate rat race in early 2009. I now had the time to enjoy my family, especially my grandchildren and to pursue music once again. I purchased a banjo and tried to remember how to play. Pretty soon I was attending music festivals and having the time of my life. The people I met were so nice and the music was wonderful. I was having so much fun, I started Dannah Music later that same year and began selling instruments in my local area and over the Internet. I’m still a little rusty on the 5-string, but that is improving as well. Update: 03/18/2014 Opening in 2009, Dannah Music has enjoyed over four years of selling quality musical instruments.
