Just got back from a terrific festival in Shelton, WA. The "Bluegrass from the Forest" festival featured many great bands including The Boxcars. Ron Stewart was fantastic on the banjo and he was nice enough to put on an informative workshop Saturday morning. The auditorium was beautiful and it was so nice to have a comfortable seat. The banjo contest was fun to watch and showcased some fine pickers. Other activities included a band scramble, jams, a number of workshops, youth program, mandolin tasting, and a band contest. Lots of fun for all.
