this should be a sticky

thetexan - Posted - 02/18/2012:  14:32:59

As I said earlier, I think this needs to be a sticky.  HOWEVER, I think that anyone who is serious about playing with others and who cant should add BIAB with real tracks as a part of their learning tools so they can create all of the other backgrounds and use all of the other tools to help you get proficient.

Hello Mark,

This is a great thing you are doing for all the members at the Hangout, it will really help a lot of people, and they will enjoy practicing more with a back-up band.

I also think this needs to be a sticky.

Todd

They are incredibly useful. Now I don't even know how I could practice without them. Are they hard to make? They must be.

Wow this is great, more backing tracks! I am especially glad to have the Old Spinning Wheel. Thank you!

I am just curious about how you make them -- how do you tell biab what the notes and chords are? And do you have to tell it the notes for each of the instruments? And by the way, you get it to sound really quite natural. I'm just curious how you can do all that in only 10 minutes per song.

Very cool and useful, these tracks have helped me a whole lot. I think my practicing is more efficient and focused now.

These are all great, and I completely appreciate the time you spent making them & posting.  Is there any chance you or somebody could do a step-by-step procedure on how you made one of these tracks?    I recently purchased BIAB, and the bluegrass - realtracks - and I kind of gave up on program, it just got too complicated and confusing.    I know if I spent many more hours i might be able to figure it out, but I would absolutely LOVE for someone to do a step-by-step procedure on how you made one of these simple tracks.   From beginning  to mp3-creation.     ?
